I was expecting for a plot twist where the Hacksmith accidentally creates a real working arc reactor (I mean it really pumps out some voltage instead of sucking it from the lithium batteries) anyway, you've done a great job. this is exactly what I signed up for when subbing this channel
I've been wanting to mess around with these things called "plasma actuators". I think they would produce a similar effect to your arc reactor, albeit without the sound and a more uniform glow. Doubt you'll see this comment, but if you do I highly recommend looking into them! On a somewhat related note: I'm working on a concept for a functional, scaled-down Quinjet. I may use the plasma actuators as a "virtual barrier surface" above and below the wing-mounted vtol fanblades. This would allow air to pass smoothly over them without turbulence.
That sounds really interesting. If you are stopping airflow into the fanblades via plasma, how are they going to work? Or is the plasma semi-permeable? I have not yet looked deeply into plasma actuators, just read two articles rn to respond :P
I’ve heard of those. I posed the question to the hypersonic guys I worked with briefly why they didn’t use them. Basically the answer was “too much power.” How much power do you intend on producing/using on board the VTOL craft?
@@EliasMheart Not stopping, redirecting. At least, that’s usually how plasma actuators are used. It’s actually really interesting. Basically the concept is you produce a cushion of plasma that guides the airflow around the surface.
I must admit, it’s really cool for him not only to be creating awesome things and putting actual time and effort into it, but he also explains some of the sequences. He gets me excited to learn, and I’m not overly fond of engineering, etc. It’s just he has a really captivating personality, that makes it hard *not* to pay close attention! At least, for me!
Well, the arc reactor is a mini nuclear fusion plant, so it uses the hydrogen in the air as fuel, and pumps out hellium as a by-product. But making the walls transparrent is stupid, the movie put it in for Cool-factor. But the coils around it are electromagnets to keep the plasma from touching the walls. Otherwise they would melt. But another loop hole can be: you turn matter into energy, E=mc², that would easilly give you the 3GW output with very little fuel. Since c² is a very large number.
palladium actually poisened tony in the 2'nd movie thats why he made the new arc reactor by making a new metal in the 2nd movie to make him not die by the toxicicity
The funny thing is the arc reactor is basically cold fusion or a lower temperature fusion reaction. It’s funny because the old cold fusion experiment inadvertently just created a big capacitor, which is precisely what these guys are making now.😅

Also him: well yes, but actually no
Someone did it better
That's hack Smith
TwoKBeats I love this guys videos, and so that’s why I decided to build an arc reactor on my channel!!! Please go check it out and maybe subscribe!!! It’s a cool video
No
I was expecting for a plot twist where the Hacksmith accidentally creates a real working arc reactor (I mean it really pumps out some voltage instead of sucking it from the lithium batteries)
anyway, you've done a great job. this is exactly what I signed up for when subbing this channel
@@EliasMheart ah yes I totally understand
You can't just say you're working on something without showing at least part of the work. At least post some work-in-progress on IG or YT.
He is using tons of batteries to power the arc reactor and charging his phone which is already fully charged, great innovation!!
No wonder we havent heard from you in so long, you were in a cave captured by obadiah creating the arc reactor!
*Makes arc reactor*

Woow ! Thanks for so many likes

Like seriously? You can charge something better.
going to use it on other projects, cant wait to see what happens!
@@colezasada4511 good luck!
To be fair, I think most of us would jump at the opportunity to have a portable power generator to provide electricity for our cell phone addiction.

“Tony Stark was able to build this in a cave! With a box of scraps!”
*Bunch* of scraps.
And they were able to do this in a warehouse! With a common electric technology!
Well I’m sorry, I’m not Tony Stark
Well I’m sorry, I don’t have a box of scraps
Well I'm sorry Ironman isn't real
Well, the arc reactor is a mini nuclear fusion plant, so it uses the hydrogen in the air as fuel, and pumps out hellium as a by-product. But making the walls transparrent is stupid, the movie put it in for Cool-factor. But the coils around it are electromagnets to keep the plasma from touching the walls. Otherwise they would melt.
But another loop hole can be: you turn matter into energy, E=mc², that would easilly give you the 3GW output with very little fuel. Since c² is a very large number.
I didn't know tony stark owned a RUclips channel.
What doesn't he own? :P

An elephant. I'm pretty sure he doesn't own an elephant😂😂😂

palladium actually poisened tony in the 2'nd movie thats why he made the new arc reactor by making a new metal in the 2nd movie to make him not die by the toxicicity
I have a fan theory that the "new metal" he made was synthetic vibranium.
@@GooseCheezy_official no it's not , it's a new element which he named it after his dad.
@@kaishuro6156 which oddly enough actually acts like a form of synthetic vibranium in the comics

@@HovektheArtist yeah but it's Howardium in MCU
hacksmith: "alright i need to charge my phone let me get my charger"
*pulls out entire arc reactor*
Charges phone in 2 seconds. 😁👍
@@glenturney4750 leaves it in for 3 seconds and phone explodes
@@bigbosspanda1976 leave it for four seconds and it becomes a nuke
@@solitude9875 pretty sure I would have a hard time charging it for 4 seconds after the phone explodes.
@@bigbosspanda1976 no no, it comes in two stages:
The first when you blow the battery, the next when you blow the entire power grid
The funny thing is the arc reactor is basically cold fusion or a lower temperature fusion reaction. It’s funny because the old cold fusion experiment inadvertently just created a big capacitor, which is precisely what these guys are making now.😅

People say that Elon musk is like iron man but the Hacksmith is literally becoming iron man.
