This is Truly one of the Most Underrated channels out there Insanely Good Videos and Info I can not believe there are not at least a million subs for real
Nah, it was good in the beginning and stays good. There's lots of good gyms and fighters and instructors and coaches out there.. it's good to see a benchmark, due to the variety as well as the "up and coming" nature of human martial culture.. but this channel isn't "underrated", as it has huge acclaim, especially since one of the Peterson gym MMA fighters is doing well (not to mention the wrestling tournaments and meets)
... I tell all my students and martial arts/combat sports friends. Always top quality content!
For real
Hell be there soon
Absolutely, subbed 🤙👌🤙
OMG...That guy is a tiny giant. That wedge technique of the single leg is pretty damn genius
Works well against a sweaty barefoot guy in BJJ cus can't grip the rubber of the shoe and get the lockdown on single as you might do in Wrestling
What happen if I underhook when tied up like that?
@@counterkidnapping1737 ... Main thing with underhooks is you need to know how to underhook correctly or your opponent has an overhook... if that makes sense
You're such a good teacher Brian. Wish I could train with you. Thanks for these videos.
Me too
Awesome! Props to you as an instructor for teaching in an easy to learn way! I’m 5’8 160lbs and this exact takedown was what allowed me take down and embarrass a scary ass dude who is 6’5” 270lbs that decided he wanted to come after me unprovoked and without any warning. #1 on my personal highlight reel and I am still in awe of how easy it seemed.
Proof or it didn’t happen
@@alexanderrodriguez8582 I mean he literally trained to take people down. It’s not surprising he was able to do that to him.
@@alexanderrodriguez8582 he probably doesnt give two fucks if u believe it
@@alexanderrodriguez8582 He was probably a super nice guy drunk as hell stumbled over his own big ass feet and was falling reaching for help and u push him to the ground. 6'5 270 is a big boy for a guy 5'8 160 to take him down easy. That man's hands probably wrap around your entire face while he bonks u on top of your head.
@@jackharrington3711 forehead and top of head okay chin is sleep button
I love that you are making him do the moves. This makes picking up key details way easier.
man, the true test of anything as a coach or teacher is that what you teach can be learned effectively. the fact that you show you teaching someone something and we can see his light bulb moments is just awesome. thanks for the video!
great comment

I was 135. Showed up late to a dual. Coach made me wrestle 167. Just so eye opening to feel 30 lbs of muscle. People who say the stupid line, "Size doesn't matter" have never completed in a sport with weight classes.
Then go watch mighty mouse (Demetrius Johnson) he defeated a huge dude in wrestlin😂
This is the best instructional channel ever. Period. Hands down. Damn ... I want to train with this guy.
Me too!
You are most welcome. One of the reasons I love this channel is because you read and acknowledge viewers' comments even though you don't have to. Awesome!
I coach youth wrestling, and the wrestlers that continue to shie through out the year, and continue to grow into stand out wrestlers, regardless of experience, are the ones that ask the right questions, and stay after a little late to go over a technique. Such as this man here. Great simple break down!
This is an excellent way of teaching. Keep it up. I've just learnt a valuable skill!
This really helped me understand more about standing grappling before shooting for the single. Thanks Coach Brian
Good coach. Supportive and impressive teacher
ty coach this is gold as ever your teachings! i love the fundamentals, you explain them so well!
Great Technique! Can't wait to try it on my cousin when he tries to hug me during Christmas dinner 💪 (we are both 29)
How did it go?
We need an update on how that went
@@countryboy1776 bru must’ve got Batista bombed😂

Coach has the teaching gift and natural leadership abilities.
This is so incredibly fundamentally sound, creating kuzushi, leverage, timing, it’s gold
I don't think I could add anything more to what has already been said by other viewers, but just let me say this is awesome. You have my total respect, admiration and appreciation. Thank you, Coach Brian.
Advanced basics of wrestling. Amazing stuff.
Good grief this channel is GOLD. Such a fantastic coach. 👏
Can't believe the knowledge you're putting out there!
It's exactly the stuff I've been looking for, and this technique connects perfectly with what I already know.
And you're right, there's some details in there I hadn't seen.
I honestly thought this was gonna be some staged nonsense,
Instead, I'm pleasantly delighted with your quality instructions and demonstrations.
Thank you!
This is some of the best grappling instruction on the Tube.
Gracias Coach!!!
COACH BRIAN

Great channel man ,very good teacher
please do more wrestling tutorials. i am a purple belt and this is very helpful for those of us who never got to do wrestling in high school.
Awesome concept thanks coach! Was trying to single leg a 300lber and this "steering" would've been a game changer!
some people are great at explaining techniques, some not so much. this guy gets it
Brilliant explanation...I've always wondered why the indide tye is important...I've never had it explained and demonstrated to me...thank you very much sir...
This channel is gold. And Coach Brian is a very good teacher. Focus on every small details👍
Every component of this course of action was well articulated.
Implementing this will surely help cement my legacy (in my own mind) as the Giant Killer.
Brings me back to my childhood
This is amazing. Such a great teacher with such a positive attitude.
Best wrestling coach on RUclips
Great technique breakdown, as always.Thank You Coach 👍
That was a fantastic easy to follow bit of training. I've never understood the effectiveness of pushing, or pulling from the inside like that.
Man this is great!
I have always liked the outside reap and the hip toss against bigger guys because when I was trained in Judo we practiced every move against every person in the gym so you got to practice against everybody from large to small and I found that those two throws seem to work great against larger opponents as long as you were able to read their energy and make your adjustments right you can make spectacular throws against big boys.
This method for getting into a single leg without puuting your face in danger of knee strikes would be perfect to throw into the mix when you get caught in a tie up struggle with a big guy who isnt opening up for throws.
And the way you are explaining the intricacies of every position through the move is excellent!
Thanks coach!
Gold brilliance my Brother!!! Thanks!
Ninja snoop highschool graduate highschool diploma loves watching teach me grappling videos
.
Thank you so much for the tips. I've been doing No-Gi for about a month, and right from the start, I was grappling with big guys who always get the better of me, I'm gonna try that on my next training 💪
Thanks to you coach Brian for the incredible videos you're making! 💐
Dc vs Gus is a good example of this drill and also shows a few others too.
Found gold during Christmas break. Can't wait to go back
Extraordinary teacher! Thank you. What a master class
Wow, thank you!
Top notch video. Thank you.
Double underhooks then leg sweep works pretty damn well. I'm 130 lb corrections officer and have had it work many times for me
I would love to be able to go and train with Coach Brian. Such a great instructor and so much experience.
man, you keep adding details that change my understanding of a position or move that I thought I knew. the river of knowledge runs deep there coach.
Great coaching!
I was the first female to wrestle men at the four year level , (* until Dean cut the team in favor of hockey, looking at you LSSU).I'm not a feminist , so you've never heard of me but this channel is absolutely fabulous.
Thank you, this is one of the best explanatory videos I have seen.
What I wouldn't give to train with coach Brian. I'm disabled though.. so.. (fart noise) the dude is incredible.
Tried this on my Dad (just for fun) who has 50lbs on me, it worked great! Thanks!!
Awesome video. Will be trying these drills with my son later.
This is GREAT. That you!
Wow, really great Video! This is really one of the beast teaching videos I've seen in a long time, thanks man! Keep up the great work.
This is top notch Instructions and great attention to detail! . thank you for sharing.
This is my RUclips grappling coach.
This is a very good video. When I watch it, I wonder how you would protect yourself when the big man has his hands on you and decides he's going to punch your head off.
Fighting for centre dominance.....love it.
technique technique technique.
great video. much appreciated.
Very nice explanation. Subscribed.
This was amazing bro respect
These videos are fantastic. Every time I watch it, I think it is Adam Sandler teaching wrestling though 😅
Best grappling channel on earth
Ah yes as 260lbs man myself I hate getting bullied by men who have 100lbs on me lol
Take that Hafthor Bjornson and Eddie Hall!
Hardly anyone in the world with significant speed and cardio at 300lbs + to be as much of a challenge as a 150lb Vs athletic 250lb etc
Awesome details. Love the Goggins shout out. Keep'em coming coach. Stay hard!
This guy's a good teacher
This is excellent, perood.
i like it when a trainer trains with its heart :)
Yes, you do have great stuff.
Thank you!
That was great. Thanks.
Perfect !! It's always about technique and great position not about power and strength to control some one .
that steering push pull is a classic hapkido technique or taekwondo, bascially when you do that move, it will get the person spun around in a very similar fashion. Once that is completed and they are spun around, you apply the back choker hold sleeping head lock, at that same time your pulling the person back, so they cant gain balance. I dont care what style anyone does they all link in some way shape or form. Awesome stuff great video.
Great stuff , thanks
Great video. Thank u!
good techniqual friend thank you so much friend
Respect to Elijah for his endurance!
Very easy to get instructions, great job boss!
It is a variant of my favourite takedown and yes, it is something that works on bigger people. Only takedown that worked for me on one of the guys at our gym (he was not only bigger, but also stronger than me, that guy was a beast)
Thank you brother
nice! easy to understand
The information you provide is so helpful! Im a complete beginner and excited to learn more!
Awesome please keep the fundamentals of set ups and footwork
What a great teacher/master❤
Excellent
Coach brian is elite
Excellent work very good techniques.
My dad and I have been wrestling lately and he's so much bigger it's hard to do more than just stay up! He's challenged me to try to take him down (gently) and now I'm committed! Lol
Thank you for addressing the whole pinching with your legs thing!!! This has been a discussion in my circles for years, honestly. I'm not a fan of it at all for many reasons. I think it's used improperly all the dam time!
WHAT. A. GREAT. COACH !!!!!
Reminds me of Judo = Kuzushi: offbalancing! Shifting your opponent weight. Great way to sweep your opponent with minimal effort..and maximum effeciency
The Big Guy looks so friendly I bet he is a nice guy
thanks for the tips adam sandler. never knew would take a career in fighting. gonna try this on my grandma now, shell never stand a chance!
Damn good Coach!!
He coach. Your Tornado Kick is not bad. Thought you are only a grappler. Iam a master of Tornados. Like it........
