I remember going to the fair with a pop locking outfit on. I was about 12 years old. My friends Preston and Lynn laughed at me. With those striped socks and my jeans rolled up. 🤣🤣🤣. In hindsight. I did look a hot mess. I'm 60 now and hindsight is always 20/20. Lynn and I are still good friends. Preston passed away. Great memories. My first time going to the fair without my Mom. We jumped the fence and it was exhilarating. I was officially a thug. Lol. I would do it all again. Things were so much simpler and fun. Compared to the kids now days. No fights or guns. Just being a devilish kid.

Soul Train was such a special show for me personally in the 80s when in England we had just 3/4 tv channels so when I saw a clip i'd go nuts and wanted to know what it was, The best music, the best dancers, the best choreography it was so faultless! As a white British man this also educated me with black people as I was brought up in a rural area of England which was predominately white people, My love for Soul Tain is lifelong!!! Rest easy to both of you style warriors.. and shoutouts to the editor of this, that heavy percussive mix blended perfect with the dancers. #GangstaBoogie #FlyguyOffgrid
