- Hi friends!
In this video, I'll show you how I prepare our Airbnb for incoming guests in a peaceful and quiet way, allowing for contemplation while cleaning.
It is different than the rest of my videos and I hope you enjoy it.
The historic home is on our property so I walk down and take care of things each time new guests checkout.
You will see me wrapping up a green garden hose in the bathroom and you may wonder what I am doing; the house uses a well and we have to shock our water heater from time to time. If the water sits in the hot water tank for too long, the minerals in the water, react with the anode in the hot water tank and put off a sulfur smell. It won't hurt you, but it is a little stinky. ;) (the more you know)

What do you call the protective clothing item over your dress? I’ve been wanting something like that for when I clean but unsure of what to search to find it. Is it just a cleaning apron? Or something like a cross cross apron? Lol. Thanks!

I searched for “linen apron” on Amazon and the apron that I’m wearing, popped up.
Of course, it is not real linen… but at $29, I expected as much.

Ooh beautiful home! :D Now I don't even own a house for myself much less for BnB guests, but I always wondered if I DID, if people would wreck things and leave it horrible or if it would be okay. How's your experience been? Do most people leave the place decent? I'm so curious! :O
Great question! Thankfully, only once, And my gut told me I shouldn’t let the person stay, but I did anyway, and I paid for it. Always trust your gut.
