I just missed you by a month as i quit in June! Would’ve loved to meet you and i love the videos man, always brings a smile to my face!

I never hear anything about Australian coffee, yet I hear lots of Aussies complain about other countries’ coffee. It’s quite funny and a bit confusing! 🙃
lol but as a Canadian, Tim Horton's coffee is genuinely terrible.
@@omjeeowhich is sad in an ironic way, because when it was good, they were never making it themselves. Now if you want classic Tim's coffee, you go to McDicks.
@@omjeeo I never drink tim's coffee. I rather pay 5$ at a real coffee place, not fast food coffee
@@Dawn_Hannah it's less abt the actual growing of coffee, more about the preparation. most suburbs have at least 1 barista-style coffee shop with a decent brew (including small towns), starbucks is confined to the CBDs and tourist traps, and the drip style coffee can only be found in gas stations and convienience stores

As a Canadian watching you reacting to Canadian tire, yes its that confusing, most people don't go to canadian tire for tires
Great thing about Las Vegas is the summers hit 100+ but we still see mountains with snow on them in the winter lol.
I'm Canadian. Seeing people, especially my favorite RUclipsr, get a total culture shock towards something that's totally normal to me is fantastic. Welcome back Dank 👍
As a Canadian, its funny hearing things we're totally used to. Glad you're feeling a little better too. Wish I could have made it to LTX.
I love listening to people talk about the place you live in like it’s an unexplored territory, which I guess it is for them. I agree with the traffic thing completely, every time I’ve gone away to somewhere that isn’t the states I stare a traffic in awe. I wanna visit Australia!
Canadian traffic is the same as America, but our buying habits are slightly different. Pickup trucks are everywhere, but we also buy more small cars.
@@andrewduong2740 there is certainly more of the bigger cars from the brands we buy smaller stuff from in the US vs Canada
Canadian Tire does so well in Canada because there are so many small towns with minimal shopping. One stop shop is perfect for these places.
As a canadian, this was the most entertaining video you have made so far.😁
As an American, I will smugly reiterate SO FAR, then go "USA! USA! We're #1 We're #1!" lol
But Canada has free health care.
I like how he talk about all the big cars and how people just use them as family vehicles. There’s a lot of them and it’s a problem.
What I would give to bring Utes back
I never in my entire life thought I'd watch a DankPods video where I've been to all the same places you visit... what a legend, I hope you enjoyed my old stomping grounds and all the nonsense found within.
As a canadian, you should never expect timmies coffee to be anything more than "tolerable"
Heck half of us for breakfast had a dart and a large double double
They are easy to find and the coffee is consistent in its being tolerable across the country.

I’m an American and I had to design a conveyor system for Canadian Tire once. I was so confused when they mentioned all the stuff other than tires they were looking to convey.
It all makes sense now…
I've heard a few references to Canadian Tire, and they never explained the deal. Out of that context, those references never made _any_ sense.
Honestly was pretty weird to watch a Dankpods video and be able to say “Hey, I’ve been there before!” Glad you enjoyed Canada.
Canadian tire is just like Tractor supply in the states. Like, I got deja vu watching you walk through the aisles.
I love how Wade didn't even throw away the 'James Channel is the best' note, he just covered it with pkcells.
I love how you just glossed over visiting Toy Traders, the largest toys and collectibles store on the West Coast. It is so wonderful to see that you took yourself all the over these parts, I hope it was a great experience for you! Also, yes, Tim Hortons is maximum mid, and isn't even really Canadian these days. So surreal to see the streets I was just driving through last month in this video, it's great.
I love when people are excited to see mountains for the first time. They get so excited

As a Canadian, I can confirm that we feel the same way about Tim hortons. It’s for when you only have a toonie and want a snack so you get a doughnut. Not much else

Canada drives on the correct side of the road. Plus there are huge trucks everywhere. They’re way bigger than the regular Hiluxes and rangers of Australia. But still I would love it if Utes were available in the states/Canada.
We need them back. The sightlines of these massive trucks keep getting higher and narrower. I'd rather the people who need a smaller truck for light work aren't stuck between dealer-marked Mavericks and Rangers, and overweight monstrosities. It's so stupid.
as a southern californian, I understand that feeling of "I've never seen snow before" but up close. its such a weird thing to take for granted to me
Canadian Tire used to have their own currency. Many Canadians still have wads of Canadian Tire money hiding in their sock drawers.
I still have some I hope they still accept it. (I just haven’t brought it in a while but I do live in Canada)
@@CaptainRex332 Oh yeah, you can still spend the Canadian Tire money.
They still have "CT Currency", but, it's all digital now... you just get "points" like every other "points" card. They changed it in 2014. It's not the same as having a big stack of Canadian Tire money tho...
That seems like that would be a neat and quirky idea! What did they call Canadian tire money originally?
@@DollyBoy_1923 They called it "Canadian Tire Money". lol
The interesting thing about historic Canadian Tire Money was that you could actually spend it in more places than just Canadian Tire.
For example, I knew a few arcades that would exchange Canadian Tire Money for quarters. Because Canadian Tire sells such a variety of items, the arcades would just accept the Canadian Tire Money from kids, and then use that money to buy hardware for repairs at Canadian Tire later on.

Flew from Tokyo to Toronto on the same plane with Air Canada. 12 hr. Flight in economy. It was gruelling.
Flew from Frankfurt to Tokyo with JAL, extra leg space, and it was a really comfortable flight. The Lufthansa flight back was not as good, seeing as it got delayed, the extra leg space being way too expensive for my liking (i.e. I were economy), and had what I would say is the worst in-flight entertainment menu I have ever seen. Still, it was good enough for a 14 hour flight, and allowed me to forget for a moment that I would soon have to wait an hour just to get my baggage in Frankfurt compared to the few minutes it takes anywhere else.
