TEN fkn YEARS ago. I can't believe it. I love that Mark puts out song after song, album after album with this band and with Alter Bridge. I find it crazy that they're not massively popular. I just saw Tremonti a few months ago and only a few of us in the audience were into it. 75% of the people just stood there like stumps while this amazing music was being played.
Seriously...I just found Tremonti like 3weeks ago...life of a rig welder, work so much all kinds pass you right by.
The entire catalog from this band is fucking awesome, lots of melodic surprises, structural surprises, and a very modern sound/feel.
Vocals are friggin CLEAN !

Tremonti is one of my favs with this style.
This is great but Death Metal (especially Melodic Death Metal) is my favourite. I used to hate it too then I got used to it and some of the bands are so talented. Try Children Of Bodom or Lamb Of God (they're Groove Metal) and even Trivium's old stuff which is the 3 bands that got me into the screaming/growling vocals but then I also like heavier stuff.
These guys are actually touring with Trivium. I'm not sure who the headliner is but it should be a good show.

Creed held Tremonti back so much. I was a fan of them way back when and I still think My Own Prison is an awesome album, but I didnt realize how good Tremonti was until Alter Bridge and now this.

This is one of the songs that hooked me on Tremonti. I already liked Alter Bridge etc....I have followed him since. Heck, the guy does a good Sinatra too! Tremont is very underrated in my opinion.

Well, this is much better than Alterbridge(my opinion). This is kinda like Creed gone heavy metal without Scott Stapp and the classical picking, though I love the classical picking. I would be interested in hearing Scott Stapp in this type of arrangement. A few parts in this song are a little reminiscent of Kurt Cobain especially when Tremonti sings those high notes like...TIME. You got a great voice Tremonti and you're definitely a great guitarist. I like how you've slowly added a bit of Dimebag Darrell's sound style into your solos over the years. Keep up the great work, man.
