Lou is a Rock LEGEND, love to see him perform on stage again. He’s such a humble guy, and considering all that he has gone through, he sounds great. Love you Lou, all the best for the future.
Lou Gramm a une voix incomparable. Après ce qu'il a passé il est revenu et reste le meilleur chanteur. Ravie de le voir à nouveau dans le groupe. Les originaux restent les meilleurs ❤❤❤❤
What a GREAT thing these guys do to bring back the original players. Too many times you see these groups end badly. This is just GREAT for everybody Kudos to Foreigner!
Yes of course Lou is Foreigner, but for the Hansen complaints, Hansen is not trying to replace Lou's legacy, Hansen was hired to do a job and hes doing it Hansen style , he also respects Lou at the highest regard !! Great to see Mick still jamming on leads !!!
I think that Kelly understands the history of Foreigner and the importance of Lou Gramm. It’s got to be a little strange for Lou and Kelly, but I think there is a lot of mutual respect there. Too bad more fans don’t get that. Two of my favorite singers ever
Thank you for defending Mr. Kelly Hansen. In interviews, He's a very nice guy and yes I think he's doing a great job just like Arnell Pineda as new Lead Singer for Journey. No one can deny that Lou Gramm and Steve Perry are two of the greatest Rock and Roll singers of all times but Kelly Hansen and Arnel Pineda both respect the Original Lead Singers and are just doing a great job bringing the music back to life from these two insanely popular bands for fans to enjoy and attend concerts to celebrate the collection of songs and have fun. That's all!
I was born in 1968. I heard this song when I was in middle school. What s great band! I feel very fortunate to have grown up listening to this band, and other bands alike. No comparison to the kind of music of this time. Those bands, the lyrics were, and is still amazing. I get such an andrenelin listening to Foreigner's music. Love you guys. Thanks Lou for your amazing voice.
Check out IF Live Liverpool 1971 here, and watch the first song, Your City is Falling. If you think Dennis Elliot is great here w/ Foreigner, wait 'til you catch him in that vid...you're in for a treat. That whole band was unbelievable.
Holy smoke...Lou sounds AMAZING. The other singer sounds great, too; and I don't mind the dual vocals; but Lou IS the FM voice of the 70's/80's -- and he's worked his voice back to that level. I had dinner with Lou, once, in the 90's. Pretty nice guy.
Anyone complaining about Kelly Hanson being out there didn't see Lou 10 years ago. Lou has come back from the brink of death literally and he sounds a helluva lot better now than he has in years. Kelly was hired to replace the Lou that couldn't sing. No sin in that.
Nobody stays perfect and nothing lasts forever. The management did an awesome job in picking Hansen for Gramm's overall replacement, when Lou could no longer give his best performance for the fans to make it worthy, not to mention it wasnt in his best interests. Nothing will ever replace Foreigner's original sound they had in their prime, but their spirit has lived on.
This is not about whether or not Hansen can perform Lou and Mick's songs. This is about showing respect for a legend in rock, Lou Gramm, and not dancing, singing and jumping around on stage during his performance. Lou Gramm is a living legend and has earned the respect to be treated that way. There is absolutely no need to for Hansen to be on stage in the presence of Lou.
@@uncleelmer You are making a case for someone to specifically NOT rock out while one of the world's greatest rock and roll singer's is singing? Good grief. Furthermore, it seems you haven't read the papers. The reason Kelly was out there was specifically because Lou wanted him out there. Lou and company played a few songs on their own and then the rest of the current band joined in. Kelly and Lou are incredibly good friends and Kelly's respect for Lou is the reason they can rock out together without egos getting in the way.
Wow, Lou is looking and sounding a lot better fro after his tumor. His voice is getting stronger with time. Lou I sincerely pray you get back all you had and then some, you;re sounding great and looking great, best rock voice of all time! God bless all of your!
Bravo Foreigner! Putting egos aside and giving their fans what they really want. Wish some of the other bands from this generation would take note...cough, cough...Journey, Styx
Lou is proving once again what a class act he is. He knows all too well Kelly is having to copy his phrasing, and everything that made us love Lou. That's Kelly's job. My guess is it's Mick Jones. In his heyday, few singers came close to Lou's skill and abilities. Kelly knows it too.
Wow Lou sounds fantastic as well as the original line up, I’m glad the whole band past and present did this together all these other bands should take a look at this in the end it’s for the fans not the ego ( were looking at you kiss,Van Halen, guns and roses) if these guys can do it there is no excuse
This band somehow cuts through every other I've known ... so good to see Lou Gramm up there ... my heart is full of happiness seeing Mick Jones unite the original band with the current ... I've just turned 50 and recall 'Urgent' being played at a friend's house back in the 80's ... it made me feel something then along with 'Feels Like' and 'Hot Blooded' ... timeless and classic ...
After hearing about all that damn Journey drama they don’t deserve to be in the rock n roll hall of fame!! Turn in their induction and give it to THESE GuYS!!!
Fantastic. So great to see the old and new lineups together. Was privileged to see Foreigner a couple of months ago and they were truly amazing. Kelly is a great front man and, while it must be difficult for him to live in Lou’s shadow, it’s great to see him and Lou sharing the stage.
Robert Wagner and that’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it. The sad fact is Lou can’t do what he used to be able to and, while his voice continues to improve, he does look a little like your embarrassing uncle at a wedding while up on stage. That’s not to take away from everything he did in the past. Kelly is a classic rock and roll frontman with great stage presence and an awesome voice and Mick has assembled a first class band to keep the Foreigner catalogue alive. I feel lucky to have seen them live a couple of months ago.
That is awesome that they are together if even briefly. Lou has no ego to be able to come together with mick and co...i think a strong voice will come back after resting like was done
A great tribute to a Legendary Vocalist-Lou Graham-I love how Kelly Hanson does not upstage Lou & comes in & out to support Lou on those upper pitch registers. Class Act!
Lou sounded great! Wish he’d gotten to sing the whole song . Wonder if he and Kelly agreed to share the singing or if Kelly just jumped in and took over . I saw Lou look annoyed a couple times like he was thinking, “ Am I supposed to be singing here or are you ?!” Love Lou Gramm ! Wish he’d gotten to speak at some point. I’m sure he wanted to .
Having seen the lineup with the newer singer, his showing deference to Lou Gramm was very appropriate. The hits are bigger than anyone person, and they are what move audiences. I really enjoyed the double cowbell scene, that says it all. 'More cowbell' is never enough, bang it till the cows come home!
My lifelong dream : to have the legendary band Journey's new lineup to welcome past members in a Homecoming concert, that is... featuring Arnel, Jeff, Augeri and Perry... of course, including Rolie, Jackson, Valory, Smith and others
The lineup of Dennis Elliot, Lou Gramm, Al Greenwood, Mick Jones, Ian McDonald, and Rick Wills (my favorite bass guitar player) shall reunite for a reunion tour with all the vintage keyboards: Hammond organ, Mellotron, moog synthesizer, clavinet, Fender Rhodes and grand piano.
I think right now, for his age and what he has been through Lou is at the prime of his older years. he looks and sounds great
God bless Lou 💞🎤👌👏👏👏
Not yeah but hell yeah!
And since becoming a Christian, he has an eternal home in Heaven!!
I love how Kelly and Lou come together here and complement each other. That’s what it’s all about: having a good time and enjoying the music!
Lou sounds pretty damn good after all his health issues !! As far a Kelly goes, I think he's done a great job.
Lon Janis agree that kelly has done good but just seams like hes stepping on some toes in this video
Yup, Kelly needs to go chill in the green room for a bit….
@@johncruz9357 he is painful
I totally agree with you it’s not Kelly’s place to sing that song only Lou gram :)

nothing wrong with your voice.but let Lou sing this.it,s his.

que lástima que Lou no siguió el ejemplo de Paul McCartney

Well said. This a freaking amazing celebration. No upstaging, just great support. Lou sounds strong and Kelly is off the charts as usual.

Lou Gramm wrote most of Foreigners songs, what a genius! Hanson just comes across as trying way to hard. Massively underrated band from that era!
he wrote the words, mick wrote the music for the most part on songs they wrote together.
