I had to do something similar to my daughter when she was about 4 or 5 years old. I made her spend hours wearing a blindfold because she questioned why she had brown eyes instead of blue eyes. I told her that I was giving her blue eyes but now her blue eyes are blind. She cried and said that she would never complain about her eyes again. She's now 22 and has never complained about her eye color and has never even tried contact lens. #Lessonlearned I admire your parenting style Lyfe. When you learn life the hard way, you feel compelled to teach your kids in a creative yet softer version of your own life lessons. Great job!!

Parents need to stop buying these games and get back to spending quality time with their kids. I stopped buying gadgets years ago. We buy things that give them physical activity (outside), or games that bring family together without the use of a TV (board games). I got my granddaughters (4 & 6), arts & crafts. If i don't do anything I'm going to stimulate their mind without brain destroying electronics. These electronics are destroying the children today. Their brains are so wired they can't sit down for 10 minutes and the blue light after 9pm destroys melatonin production.....and makes them cranky & depressed.
What is he failing in school talking back to parents and elders? Being disobedient. I know life throws stones. But life is going to throw stones. With his eyes open or not..

There's always going to be new stumbling blocks. You should teach them to get knocked down 10 times and get up 20. I missed no points and I judge not.
