Judging from the lack of videos you've posted of your own playing I'll take it that approach is working well for you... great. For those that don't have a natural sense of rhythm or timing (which is at least half the people on the planet) your asinine suggestion doesn't help. So maybe try to come up with something useful next time instead of just bashing that which you just don't want to deal with.
Yet, they played remarkably in time, unlike most people who aren't them. How do you expect someone who doesn't have an innate sense of time or rhythm to improve and play what they hear in their head? Your solution doesn't work for most people, that's why they are here.

Timing is everything. And in 20 + years of playing , i still struggle with meter and feel. Thank you for sharing things i wish i knew years ago
