  • Wanting to play cooler blues solos is a typical request from students...
    But most go about it all wrong, thinking that more notes, more patterns, and more speed, are going to solve the problem.
    The "fix" is always in the simple things, rhythm and placement.

    Im not sure if you remember, but at one point about ten years ago you came into my middle school music class, which i believe your wife was teaching at the time, and taught a few of us some guitar licks / pointers when I was first beginning to play.
    Just wanted to let you know that I never forgot that, and I still play to this day.

    Teaching how to play with feeling is probably the most difficult thing to teach. Technically using the left side of the brain to teach the right side of the brain what to do. You have taken this challenging task and made it a bit easier to understand and apply. Thank you for this.

    I miss my Marshall.... Les Paul straight into a cranked Marshall. Won’t get better than that.... great lesson, refreshing for a stuck musician like myself at the moment :-)

      I noticed the same thing I asked my wife if she could see something wrong with his eye 🤔

      Yeah, it's fine. My allergies are acting up and my contact was irritating my eye I guess. I didn't even notice it, but I guess it shows up on camera.
