Almost everyone is a fan of the Dragon soundbar. I rarely hear of anyone speaking against it.

Do you think the dragon outperforms a modest 5.1.2 AVR setup for a comparable amount of money? If not, how close do you think the dragon gets?

512 would be cleaner with nice clear separation up front. The dragon is going to give you a better atmosphtmos experience with height in the front and back. The AMT tweeters elevate the sound as well in a manner a 5.1.2 may not . The dragon is only worth it of you have kind of sworn off the aggravations and comexity of AVR and components . Dollar per dollar you can find better sound not going dragon
