This was one of those bands that when you started listening to them that you didn't stop. 2003 was an amazing year, and I still come back to listen to them as if nothing has changed at 2am.
AstoriaEdition Saw them live three or four times they're an awesome band. always down to drink coors out in front of the venue with the fans back then too.
Saw them in 2022, and didn't realize they're now a two piece band. Sean has a guitar pickup that plays the lowest note an octave lower over his guitar to simulate bass. Ty Del Rose is the drummer, and he is incredibly talented. Got to shake Sean's hand, and I told him "Thanks for giving us nowhere kids a voice." That moment will stick with me until I die.
Such an under ratted band for god's sake they deserve way more recognition It's freaking live and his voice is just like in the music video he didn't use autotunes A golden voice, a golden band, forever my favorite
WOW!! came across this by accident and am hooked.... His voice sounds the same as the studio version and the acoustic guitar make the sound of the song sooooo much better. My new favorite acoustic song along with "So Cold" by Breaking Benjamin.
My band played with these guys around this time last year... swell group of guys and amazing live! raw talent that alot of people dont get to recognize
This song is too good. Everyday since child to now my mother is overprotective by nature. It played a lot on my self esteem. My father was never there, either working or just not there often to help me grow up and be a man. My father is a hard working man who went through a lot to feed us and pay for the house and eventually my mother left him for another man. my mothers fearful nature was passed on to me. I am now facing an everyday struggle to fit into society with bad anxiety issues. FML.
This song resonates with me to this day, remember when I first heard it as a kid and even then I knew something had clicked. Thank you for writing such a good song
This song is just simply amazing and so is this band.. I discovered them on my own, they are so underrated and should be way more popular then what they are ! It's sad that bands like this that don't believe in auto-tuned sounding vocals. Keep rock alive let's be the drown out all that crap that's in music today !!
just seen them in concert and i was so close to them i could reach out and touch his feet then after they was done they came out and was talking to everyone and they signed my ticket and took pics they sure have not forgot about us small ppl and really care for their fans plus they was walking around st joseph mo as if the were normal ppl greatest band ever i love them
this band is one of the best underrated bands out there with out them i don't know were i would be in life thanks smile empty soul for all the great music
Oh its Mike explain to me how he’s an idiot if he thinks that? He’s 100% right. Computer generated shit sucks ass, it’s no real music and there’s no meaning behind any of it.
@@ZombieHouseParty17 all I knew was bottom of a bottle my friends found the song back in like 08 when we were like 13-14 but over the past 4 years I listened to more
@@ZombieHouseParty17 I just found a few that I rlly liked. Nowhere Kids, With this knife, alone with nothing, don’t ever leave, stay alive, compromise, finding myself, this is war
Where have you guys BEEN? A buddy let me hear these guys like 17 years ago. You guys gotta stop getting caught up on the new music, i'm telling you it sucks, there were so many amazing bands back in the day, which to me feels like yesterday...trust me when i say time flies, can't believe i'm as old as i remember my parents being, i'm 32, crazy
You'd rather everyone listened to this song because it's popular? Because that's the only reason most people listen to 90% of pop, because it's popular or cool, not because they can relate with it. And all of Smile Empty Soul's fans like them not because they are popular, but because they like their music and can relate with their songs.
i don't get what u mean by computers. music by definition is a compilation of notes and rhythmic percussions that use harmony and even dissonance to manipulate mood. sure this is a great definition of real music, but your opinion is simply preference output as a fact. in my opinion, real music can also come from computers.

I'm proud that there are still people that understand what is a real music and what is shit made by computer be bop pep sounds .
4 years later, you're a huge idiot if you think like that.
