Here are some amazing metallica songs that will give you goosebumps : Phantom lord audio version Disposable heroes live 1985 The four horsemen live 1987 Gothenburg One of my fav songs ^^^
What follows of a list of Metallica’s Ballads… Fade to Black, Welcome Home ( Sanitarium)… this is a mid tempo ballad, One, ( this is a “thrash ballad” a majority of the song is played at 108 BPM, but there are sections played as fast as 660 BPM), Nothing Else Matters, The Unforgiven ( all 3 of them I, II and III), Until it Sleeps, Mama Said( this one carries a Country twang), Hero of the Day and The Day that Never Comes,
Love to watch you react Rebeka! The song was written by band members James Hatfield and Lars Ulrich wrote the song. I think the song is about an a abusive father that James Hatfield had, drink up shoot in let the beatings began.
I don't recall which ballads other than Nothing Else Matters and The Unforgiven that was reacted on this channel. Other ballads of Metallica includes: The Unforgiven II and III, Sanatarium, One, Fade to Black and Hero of the Day.
What you saw were mosh pits, and the police/military presence was due to there being 1.6 million ppl in Russia at that festival. You've already checked out Metallica's #1 ballad Nothing Else Matters; their other top ballads imho are The Unforgiven 3 and Mama Said. You've also heard Unforgiven, but I would suggest doing the entire trilogy bc Unforgiven 2 is decent as well.
That was mostly military, they were outnumbered and obviously no one knew in USSR how people act during a metal show thus they thought the crowd is out of control.
55 people died. An estimated 1.6 million people attended. But: that’s a guess I’d say more like 2 MILLION. The Berlin Wall was torn down, or did this concert thrash it to pieces….. lol.
This was in Moscow my dear, just after Russia fell. Thus was the first time an't American bands were allowed to play in Russia, so yeah, the pent up Russian youth got a little nuts, and the police did as well. But, you also see some of the police sitting on each other's shoulders rocking out to the music too. Seems like you weren't paying enough attention to the details. Anyways, this concert was TOTALLY one of the best ever, Seattle was probably Number 1. As far as the music goes, not their best song, but still OUTSTANDING
Master of Puppets will always be my favorite record but ….And Justice For All is definitely my second with this song being a, if not THE, major reason. I can’t help but get hyped from it. They were trying to get away from Thrash and this was the album for it. I kinda wish they had continued in this direction instead of the Black Album.
I’m usually not the biggest fan of ballads. All of Metallica’s ballads I mean they’re not bad but they’re not my favorite songs I like their heavier stuff that’s just me. But I don’t think you reacted to nothing else matters I guess you can try that one.
Metaphorically speaking, asking for a ballad from a Metal band is akin to asking for a slashing guitar solo from a Country band. We are all sure someone somewhere has done such, but it doesn't come easy to the fan's mind to recall it. The first few albums of Metallica tapped the same sources or inspired the same emotions as the genre's core does, following the heritage of its roots coming from Punk. Aggression, Rebellion, Mental issues of either self or society, or even both, social constructs and restraints(usually in the negative), and just loud chaos. In the '80s when the Metal genre was born, it(ballads) was considered commercialized rock and better suited for hair bands and soft rock with their synthesizers and keyboards. Often the same expression of musical talent that ballads often offered Rock bands was done in instrumentals by Metal bands. Now there is whole subgenres of Metal in which ballads are revered.
People going crazy and violent like that in the audience all in good violent fun called MOSHING!! If you don't like violent moshing, please avoid reacting to the band Exodus live lmao! Their fans are INSANE! lol
Welcome Home ( Sanitarium) is definitely what you want to listen to next! Hands down their best ballad other than Fade to Black!
I agree
This is one bad ass video. Metallica sounds super tight with one of my most favorite songs by them.
RIP Cliff Burton
My favorite harvester performance!!!!!!
Agreed
This song is so tight, it makes me speed on the highway so fast in a snow storm. Can't help but bop your head.

They showed the military because their country was set free and the military didn't know how to handle it.
Merry Christmas sweetie ⛄

RIP Jason McCash
Great song choice to react Rebeka
Two great bass players.
you mean, Jason and Cliff?
@@depechemoderemas Yes
@@zon3665 wtf rob is way better than Jason besides 1 thing Jason is a better back up vocal
@@JawsVader1970 I mean Jason McCash bassist for The Gates of Slumber, not Jason Newsted.

Way to go, Becks.

Most of the Russian military didn't know/understand the mosh pits and were beating ppl down who they perceived to be starting or engaged in fights.
Please check out Metallica - Fixxer.
Nothing else matters
Check out Nazareth " Hair of the Dog"
There was about a million Russians there for that concert
I request you THE DAY THAT NEVER COMES (very good) & HALO ON FIRE (my favourite ballad)
Could tell from the moment this video started that you weren't in the right mood for this song.

Could you react to guns n roses there was a time, the best song from the last album, thank you very much
DAMAGE INC.
Hello Rebeka you look nice
Listen to nothing else matters
You do realize that this songs about demestic violence......
the thing that should not be S&M or 89
React to song DYERS EVE Live Mexico 2009. A song that should be explored more and almost not played live.
Studio version would be a better idea :)
if you want a ballad song try nothing else matters
