As a gamer who grew up during the age when games were just considered a waste of time and completely disrespected, it's so nice to see people going to back to these musical gems and give them the respect they deserve. That the music is truly amazing on it's own. The fact it was made for a game never should have mattered. And it's so good to see everyone enjoy the music for what it is. Yes, gamers will still get more out of it cause the songs are obviously designed to match the content it goes with, but they hold their own weight and value all their own perfectly fine.
E3 Square Enix, when they reveal the eventual remake, press conference should just begin with a choir singing this song, it would be an effort epic enough to try
My favorite chorale crew executing one of my favorite game theme song! Thank you for all your uploads during this restriction period, it's a real privilege to work while loop-listening to your songs.🙏
My first Final Fantasy ever. And i never had heard this before in any game. It became my most favourite game ever. I bought it on release for the ps1. Still play it today on a Ps4 Pro.
1.1x is more consistent with the video game in custom settings. My guess is they were not ready for that so they slowed it down for the performance. It's not an easy piece to perform.
This particular choir are quite close to Christopher Tin, the guy that won a Grammy for his arranged work of Civilization IV's Title Screen. They know. The people watching? Couldn't care less.
The version is too tame. It lacks the dramatic punch of the original. The original was an epic experience. It was its own Carmina Burana. This one doesn't move me as much.
Many versions are, unfortunately. The London Philharmonic version does it up to the proper speed and even increases tempo dynamically when it really unleashes in the second half.
ONE OF THE BEST OPENINGS in Final Fantasy history 🙌🏽💯🔥🔥🔥

I imagine all the boomers in the choir are like... what is final fantasy?

My first and still my favorite.
Oh my god, one of my favorite Final Fantasy songs, done so well!
Play it on 1.25 speed
too slow lol
This is AMAZING! I am so glad that you perform Final Fantasy music. Thank you so much!
Vá para o verdadeiro jardim, O jardim de verdade primaveril. Beautiful!!! Tank you very much! 👏 🌞🌎👐
That was great! Loved both the singing and orchestra! Bravo to the Conductor!
Squall and Seifer fighting and rinoa facing "me" in my mind when listening
A splendid piece, thank you all so very much
Jesus H. Christ, that was amazing all around but this is one POWERFUL chorale crew.
this was sooooooo gooood oh my god, you are amazing people!!! Thanks for this divine intervention!
The instruments part felt lacking but still well executed. "Children of Fate" really like this piece.
I'm in love with this. Please give me more.
The only choir that is doing the first fourteen seconds correctly like how it was in the game.
One of my favorite song on the beginning of the cut scene of final fantasy 8.
Why is the time on this like 3/4x speed? It's gorgeous but it's missing the percussive nature of its pacing.
Set your speed to 1.25x to come closer to the original. A great cover otherwise, if lacking a bit in the percussion and brass.
Yes that fixed it for me. On normal speed it just lacks the urgency the original had.
@@Carrinthe dude you can personalize your speed, 1.2x is the correct one.

1.25 epic win.
awesome, simply amazing!

I want to be the guy on the piano at wich has nothing to do than pressung on this one Note at the end 😂
Wow.... perfection 😲
Great!
Wow!
Best FF
man the game deserved a remake .....
so freaking good!
I cried ❤️
Bravo
The cadence is off. Should be a little faster
MAYBE X1.15 SPEED IS MUCH CLOSER TO ORIGINAL VERSION
when you put a PAL disc in an NTSC system
I wonder how many people there realized this was a song from a video game.

😊😊😊
👋👋👋👋👋
Nice, but the tempo. Oh yikes. Customize the speed to 1.15x it should be okay.
At 1.25 speed sounds more like the original version
The version is too tame. It lacks the dramatic punch of the original. The original was an epic experience. It was its own Carmina Burana. This one doesn't move me as much.
Why so slow?????
Too slow, change the play speed to 1.25
1.25 is too quick
Final fantasy 8 music!
A orquestra parece maravilhosa , mas a música está completamente atrasada !
way too slow...
Yes a little
This is almost embarrassing
Too slow

Why?
Oof. This aint it.
Like thus?
Terrible compared to the Nobi one
