In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. Приколы
Ivo sacrificing his points just for fun had me surprised laughing
He's the best ❤
That was a beautiful moment.
I loved that too
It was brilliant indeed!
Like the band playing on as the Titanic sank around them
"We're going out in style"
Ivo's walking decision might be my favorite moment this series.
He's been such a blessing fr ❤
With Kiell’s New Zealand impression, if only he’d been given the word ‘shed’…
shid
Doesn't iverybody hiv a shid?
@@DaddyBeanDaddyBean With one of those fush posters
I remember listening to a story a Kiwi was telling about painting their deck. A lot of confusion before context clues grew in number.
Rose Matefeo has entered the chet...
“Generic America” may have been Alex’s most savage quip since his “orange” line about Claudia Winkleman
But the Claudia one was 100% true
@@djpunyer8762 so was this
Mae ready to throw hands when Alex called Canada "generic America".
For me it's the moment just before the walk, where you see Ivo step forward with undeniable Frankie arms and then just throw that out the window for the pure joy of it. OUTSTANDING.
As a Canadian the way the audience reacted when Alex called Canada a sort of generic America made me laugh.
and Mae (a Canadian) ready to fight Alex lmao
@@OwlRTA just like the sort of generic America, we would expect from Canada
It's like when people try and call Wales just a greyer and rainier England. I mean they're right but I'll still knock them out
@@OwlRTA even when Mae was pretending to want to fight Alex they looked extremely polite lol.
after the first 2 walks I really thought everyone except Jenny was going to get her name
I wouldn't have said that they all have such distinctive walks that someone else could actually do an impression of them.
And, apart from 'hobbling old woman Jenny', I stand by that opinion.
@@Tao_Tology Ivo has a nervous racoon feeling sometimes and Frankie has an old man stiff walk. I don't know if Kiell and Mae has one tho. I'd argue that Mae has a light sway left and right with their upper body. But, seemingly Frankie thought so too and Greg guessed Kiell
@@DragOnDani01 I mean, you can look at them and see differences in the way they walk but not to the extent that "Go on, do your Frankie Boyle walk impression"
If it was me (and after my plan to takeover the show it _will_ be me) I'd have had the task be 'do a walk that embodies another contestant's personality.
Frankie’s two Irish accents were incredibly accurate
his parents are from donegal
@@piotrrashman6487 that’s cool, I didn’t realise :)
I enjoyed how much more aggressive the Northern accent was!
Greg Guessing is the Best. I like the tasks when he sits and pontificates the live studio task.
3:05 "Street tough new yorker" seems like Greg picked up on Mike's vocabulary.
I still can't believe Greg didn't guess right on Frankie's walk it was so good.
Also Jenny's knowing they were impersonating her walk was adorable.
Good lord that New York accent. Bless his heart.
Certainly sounded more Chicago.
Southern lawyer is all I heard in that accent
@@treebucket5382 You've been watching too much Seth Meyers. 🙂
I thought Dallas or Houston
@@laBlueflierme too!
If only Kiell had managed to take his imaginary friend to New Zealand, then he would have learnt what a New Zealand accent would sound like!
I absolutely LOST it at Ivo’s impression of Jenny 😂😂😂 honestly thought he was trying to be Greg at first, with all that emphasis on the legs
Ivo's moment was the best of the series yet. Superb
Honestly he's been just such a beautiful tragedy it's amazing
Those impressions of Jenny walking had me in stitches when I first watched it.
"It was the, in my opinion, very graceful, Jenny Eclair." lmao
This might be my favourite live task of the series.
Frankie Boyle, Man of a Thousand Voices. Man of Two Voice. Well, Man of Two Extremely Similar Voices.
Ivo's Jenny walk, Alan and Guz's monsters and Katherine's "I changed it"... top 3.
I thought Frankie was doing Greg to be honest. There was something about the defensive arms.
He carried himself with a ton of confidence, making me think it was either Greg or Kiell.
My brain went straight to thinking it was Greg too.
@@Elwaves2925 yeah, I even thought, *oh, what a strong Greg impression!" XD Oops.
I thought the saunter was Mae but I couldn’t place the arms
Ivo sounded way more texas than new york
I'm a Texan and have to agree. LOVE Ivo though!!
Yeah - he could've tried stereotypical Brooklyn style
Ivo clearly gets the spirit of the show :)
“twinned with…”☠️
mae's jenny walk was everything, she's so funny 😭
My mam, my sister and myself were fucking howling at the telly during the walking part of the task. 😂 Comedy platinum.
I totally thought Disney too.
"I know that subservient gait"
NAHHH I dead thought it was Ivo plsssss 💀
I'm really really bad at placing accents, so this task completely lost me and a majority of it went over my head.
Would have been really funny if they did a bow legged walk as a call back to Bridget Christie pedometer walk even if she wasn’t listed.
I love that the audience knew that the ‘generic America’ joke was such a low blow that they reacted before Mae even had a chance to
Ivo's NY accent 😂
Sounds like he's from Texas
This task had me in hysterics, I think it is my favourite live task in recent memory.
Alex's subservient gait😂
4:36
Fr thought it was Ivo 💀💀
Fantastic Loving this series so far,
loved Frankie's "Mae" walk and almost everyone else doing Jenny
Really interesting tasks !
I was able to get Geordie Eclair, but being American, those New York and LA accents were not accents from anywhere on Earth.
What and u think Jenny sounded geordie
@@gazza3623 I was able to recognize it as a Geordie impression, which is the goal. Sounded not unlike other impressions of the accent I've heard from people like Henning Wehn or Hugh Dennis, mainly the bit after the pause.
Kiell's impression sounded pretty close to an insincere studio executive tbh. Especially the way he said "Davies".
1:26 It was at this moment that Alex knew...he f**ked up.
This is like theatre kids at the cast party!
Yes boys cheeky bit of Taskmaster compilation time tick tock it's watch o clock
Best Show on TV 💯🤘🤘
New York was TERRIBLE but it worked hahahaha
I miss when they actually uploaded the full episodes of each series.
They're not going to do that while it's airing, what'd be the point of catching it live?
@@deepeaumm They did do that with Season 12 during lockdowns. But it was a lockdown exception and I think the videos got de-public-ed for a while again? Not sure.
They will still upload it later, just not while it's airing. Legal requirement so as not to interfere with ratings. We're still waiting for series 14 to be uploaded next as well, before they publicly upload 15.
@@jijitters depends where you are, the US has had series 14 for 6 months 🙏 once it stops airing, the youtube cops get a lot more lax
@Anna Schneider I'm in the US but can't view series 14 on the TM channel ): I had to watch elsewhere.
An AMAZING live task.
Very funny! Although, I don't know how Greg guessed that was a New York accent. It didn't sound anything like one.
I spat out my drink when I heard kiell's impression.
Ivo made me snort out loud! :D
People here talking how Ivo threw points away by copying the wrong walk for fun but at 1:10 he's also copying Mae's accent.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣 the Jenny walk part
If only the musical chairs live task was featured next.
It's cruel to show us season 15 things while you make us wait for season 14. Just monstrous
I'm hurt 😭 Alex
Its bamboo time
As a Norwegian I’m offended 💀😂
"Generic America"! How very dare you! We shall not stand for such slander. We will cover you in maple syrup and feed you to our pet polar bears whilst we eat poutine and drink Labatt 50.
And then apologise for it.
Jenny is a treasure
Old Jenny is pretty limber, the girl can move.
Ivo's bad southern accent turning out to be right here in New York was hilarious. But all our English, Welsh, Irish, etc. accents are just as bad. (See, for example, how I thought Frankie's Belfast attempt right after that was essentially just his regular voice.)
That old lady was doing the david baddiel without watching it
After that I think Jenny needs to work on her posture. She is turning into a bent backed old lady! Greg is an amazing guesser!
I thought Ivo doesn't have any accent, but then I'm Canadian
Swedish doesn't really change the s into a sh sound normally does it?
Having watched the whole series, it's a shame that most of the other live tasks were a big step down from this one.
I don't mean to say this, but I am very offended with Kiell's New Zealand impression because I am from New Zealand and we say "Taskmaster" not "Tiskmesta"
NY street accent lol He gave a southern accent that sounded like he was from Tennessee....Brits
New York. Lol not even close
That doesn't sound anything like a New York accent whatsoever, in any way. How the hell did Greg guess that? Conspiracy!
Fun fact: New York is not a city. New York City on the other hand…
Greg really said south africa for tha bs new zealand accent damn im offended lol
I guess all American accents sound southern to British people
Oh god that's nothing like a Swedish accent come on, it'd be harder consonants for whatever old Swede who hasn't learned English
Kiell did Jenny great, way better than Mae! Frankie nailed it with Mae's walk. And Alex got that wrong.....Canada is the generic America!
Hey Taskmaster, since you don't seem to mind the several channels that post your full episodes, of which I celebrate, would you mind actually making your description about the episode itself? I will even go so far as to ask that you list the CURRENT & VISIBLE Taskmaster contestants, rather than the most-famous names from the previous 12 series?
Easily one of the worst RUclips-posts by what should a person paid to do exactly that😅
I mean, you actually put Frank Skinner! He was mentioned by Little Alex as being the 1st "big 'get.'" That was nearly 8 years ago, mate. I figure maybe half the life of the person running this channel...
Lordy what a whiny, over-entitled soul you are.
Why did the audience applaud Mae in the first round when they didn’t even know which accent she was assigned? 💀
It sounded like a slightly rubbish 'scottash' accent?
Their friends may be in the audience.
Most people from US/Canada are absolutely shite at UK accents so even what Mae did was impressive for what they were probably expecting lol
I think the audience thought it was supposed to be Scottish, and to be fair it was a decent Scottish accent for an generic American
Lol frankie knew the rules. If he did anything funny it could’ve been a controversy
MAE MARTIN 2 WIN 😊
Got to be the worst lineup of all the series
Imagine if America did this. Show would get canceled 😂
They did an American version...and it did get canceled.
In perfect fashion America’s version was only 30 minutes, aired two episodes then got moved to streaming, had a comic who’s entire routine was being hateful and who then quit comedy after the show.
@@Arikayx13 close. the aired two episodes thing was not the american version of taskmaster, that's the time they brought the uk version to the US on the CW.
but the rest is accurate!
@@Arikayx13 I'd argue that Lisas' type of comedy was not that big of a problem when they put that wet blanket of a guy as Taskmaster. He made the show unwatchable.
What happened to Taskmaster.
It's gone.... wierd! Has moved away from being funny totally. Oh, well. Like all good things, apparently they have to be changed for the sake of progress instead of conserved for the sake of the audience and everyone else.
I think they might just be running out of ideas
What did they change for the sake of progress?
@@csurname I fear this is some transphobia coming through.
@@barneymetcalfe8896 I mean it's not exactly well-disguised
Speak for yourself. I've been loving series 15.
Who’s that lady pretending to be a man?
