Hi, my name is Nick George with Clouds Diamond Sharpening. I'm a professional technician who has been working on hair cutting tools and equipment for the last 20 years. I specialize in hair clipper blade sharpening, scissor/shear sharpening, hair clipper repair and much more! My clipper blade sharpening process is unique as I use a special grinding wheel with a specific geometrical pattern that was designed by my Grandfather which gives me the ability to be able to sharpen any hair clipper blade using actual diamond (1500 grit), which provides a smoother, polished finish. I can repair any hair clipper on the market as long as parts are made available through the manufacturer. I also sharpen a variety of different types of scissors/shears (beveled, convex, semi-convex, chunkers, thinning, fabric, surgical, pinking, etc.)

I tried to zero gap like other videos show, but just can't get away from the burn lines. I think the best thing to do is to watch as many instructional videos and take away what works for you. Learned from you as well. Thank you
@@anthonypico2091 using zero gapped blades requires a delicate touch. Burn lines are the biggest issue because you end up placing a moving jagged edge piece of metal against your skin. The moving blade doesn't cut anything by itself. It's the harmony of both blades working together that creates a shearing action. If your blades are zeroed out, and you bend the skin, you'll get burn lines every time.

When you bend back the fork with the needle nose pliers are you bending straight back or downward and back ???
There are several factors I'm considering when bending the tension bar, so there is never a specific direction you should bend. Blade travel, blade tension, clipper power, armature height, tension bar placement are a few of the factors you have to take into account when determining how to adjust the tension bar properly.
I would like to get my blades sharpened. How do I ship to u
