This is a goldmine of neck exercises (passive and active therapy). I have been to multiple PT and chiropractic and this is a total comprehensive program in one place. Simply the best and love the positive energy.
These exercises exposed a lot of hidden tension in my neck and even thoracic muscles. Still a way to go to get the release I feel can happen but so far the release brings a nice freedom. Thank you for making the video a "do with me" otherwise I would probably cut some exercises short.

That exercise with pro Lordotic neck exerciser: Head tilt back- Tuck the chin- come back to neutral routine. I have had chronic neck pain for the past 3 years. I believe it's radiated up to my jaw which has been spasming and causing pain. In addition, I've been having tinnitus, ear pain and pressure for the past 3 months. I've gone to ENTs, physical pain doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists. I did the Day 1 exercise last night and when I was finished my ear pain, pressure and tinnitus were gone. I actually had a good night's sleep for the first time in months and it was even quiet when I woke up the next morning. I did the same video again, and it really helped me throughout the day since I have been working from home and have a job that requires me to speak all day. I just want to thank you for your work and dedication Dr. Fields and I hope with consistency I can eventually become pain free or at least have it significantly lessened. I see you're in California, I am in Southern California. What area are you in and are you taking new patients? I would love to eventually come in for a consultation. During the pandemic, I suffer from the frozen shoulder at the left hand. few years ago, I suffered from the same problem in right hand, probably two years, and it just dissapear. but this time I don't want to suffer for a long time. I want to make it healing shorter and thanks for the excellent exercise video, that's really helping me!
Really happy to have found your series, I'm on my second time through (of I hope, at least 8),. My pain is not just in my neck though - it's around the base of the neck -- in a band about 3-4 inches wide. How can I get at those muscles?
Great. Check out my sleep apnea videos for some great tongue exercises. You'll love them for singing. I haven't thought about tongue position for this video. Enough to think about here.

Hi again, Mahi! My core videos are all designed for people with lumbar disc problems and the neck series (minus the forward stretches...be cautious) should be great for mild to moderate cervical disc problems.
Do you hear patients say they feel like their head isn’t on their neck correctly anymore? So is this mostly TMJ or neck/shoulder muscles too. Yeah, you’re really helping me out today. Lol. I have such a long thin neck and I can see my head looks wrong. Your neck vids are freaking awesome!!! Oh I’m doing them!!! I feel the cobwebs dusting off!!!😊🎉
Niiiiiice Amy! Sounds like the cervico-cranial junction. Focus on the occipital lifts. Would love if you found a chiropractor that adjusts this area. I like the spring cleaning going on
Hi Dr. Field, I have a lot of grinding noice when I move my neck to left and right and up and down. should I still do your neck exercise and am my grinding noice will go away eventually? it has been 6 months since I got injury? thanks!
t's all coming together Doc! I noticed wrist discomfort 3-4 years ago from a bad posture on the computer. Then recently I had a bad stressful month which led to teeth clenching and TMJ along with neck/shoulder pain that have been on and off for a while now! Trying my best to fix posture while on the computer and also avoiding that forward head positioning while texting on the phone. Any other videos you recommend for me? Basically trying to fix my anterior pelvic tilt and TMJ at the same time but both are definitely correlated. Which videos do you recommend for me, there is Days 1-7 but which one should I focus on for TMJ/Neck/Shoulder pain and how many times should I do it per day?
Hi Adam! It is not possible for me to even hold out my arm straight in the nerv flossing because it is like a string of pain all the way from the fingers to the bicep. I was wondering if there are any more ways to help with that, feels like these nerves might be very inflamed?
If you are having weakness or symptoms down your arm that are unrelenting, be very cautious. Otherwise, go for it but listen to your body. If you get a flare up you can ice for 15 min afterward. If you get worse during the exercise, stop and take note of what type of exercise gave you the pain. All that being said, I think you are in the right place and should be doing neck exercises regularly.
On the first nerve flossing exercise, I feel the strain even before being able to bend my hand back. Is it better to raise my arm in order to bend the hand back, or should I keep the arm down and out and not bend the hand back very far at all? What else can I do to loosen this up? I am extremely tight on that movement. Thank you.
I have cervical dystonia; my neck wants turn my face to go right. This is a painful condition. Though it's more neurological than anything else, I find your videos helpful for loosening tight muscles. Do you have any advice specific for my issue? I bet you've seen CD once or twice. Thanks.
From all the way over in New York Thank You for doing these videos! this along with the TMJ videos i haven't had this type relief in a long time! It shows you care about people regardless of them coming to your office or not!

Could you please make a VDO for costochondritis. I have this problem especially my first ribs for a long time
Noted and a great suggestion. Rib issues can bring on anxiety.
Really happy to have found your series, I'm on my second time through (of I hope, at least 8),. My pain is not just in my neck though - it's around the base of the neck -- in a band about 3-4 inches wide. How can I get at those muscles?
It's about stretching and massaging but, also, about strengthening the opposing muscles. Look at my shoulder series.
Thank you for these great neck videos! I'm just curious why the median neck flossing makes me feel like I'm going to pass out? Thank you. :-)
Beautiful ❤️I have started doing this
Way to go!
Wow, my neck feels great! Thank you
Great! Thank you..
you are welcome, Evangeline

These are so helpful. I sing and you are making a difference. Any suggestions re: tongue positions with these? THANK YOU!!!
Great. Check out my sleep apnea videos for some great tongue exercises. You'll love them for singing. I haven't thought about tongue position for this video. Enough to think about here.
@@dradamfields I've done it; it's great, Thank you.!
It's just as a singer, I'm always aware of jaw and especially tongue.

DR.FIELDS, I LOVE THIS EXECRCISE. I HAVE A FEW DEGENERATIVE VERTEBRAS, CAN;T USE THE PRO LORDOTIC NECK EXERCISER, NOR A ROLLED TOWEL. ,.WHAT CAN I DO INSTEAD ?? THANK YOU.
Check out the Pettibon Neck Traction. You can find them on Ebay. Do it for a few months and then come back to the Pro Lordotic. 5 min 2x/day for the traction.
@@dradamfields Nothing can touch my neck ,it is so sensitive. I would like to know if there are exercises, that can strengthen , my neck. I thank you so much for your answer , and I love your exercises.
This one was more painful....but make me feel the tension....good to let it go many Thanks
Thanks for doing the series. I hope you're feeling better and getting stronger, Nancy.
@@dradamfields yes I do...I should never let it without care... I do often stretching my neck with my two arms...but horizontally... And a lot of massage...need a special pillow... Sleeping with the towel is difficult...

Thank you so much sir
Great video,👍👍👍👍👍👍
Please make video on slip disc
Hi again, Mahi! My core videos are all designed for people with lumbar disc problems and the neck series (minus the forward stretches...be cautious) should be great for mild to moderate cervical disc problems.
You're great doctor
You're great for taking your body into your own hands. Own it!
I like the spring cleaning going on
I'm glad to join you.sobhi from Lebanon
Glad you're safe in Lebanon and taking care of yourself.
Hi Dr. Field, I have a lot of grinding noice when I move my neck to left and right and up and down. should I still do your neck exercise and am my grinding noice will go away eventually? it has been 6 months since I got injury? thanks!
also doing the core and glute series... a bit humbling........
I'm always open to requests for more videos if you like one but want it to be easier, longer, shorter, etc. let me know
t's all coming together Doc!
These exercises are awesome!
Glad you like them, Keith. thanks for being such an inspiration to me
Does it help with cervical stenosis
loving these videos!
I'm so glad you are doing the series. Your neck thanks you ; )
Hi Adam! It is not possible for me to even hold out my arm straight in the nerv flossing because it is like a string of pain all the way from the fingers to the bicep. I was wondering if there are any more ways to help with that, feels like these nerves might be very inflamed?
Do all the other videos and come back to the flossing in a few weeks. When you do, just barely kiss that feeling without going deep into it.
Thanks bro. Amazing 🥰😘
Welcome 😊
Mensch ,Sie sind formidabil ❤
Hi Adam, is this dangerous for me to do since I had surgery for a C5-C6 hernia on my neck last year? Thank you in advance. Regards from Argentina
@@dradamfields thanks a lot for your quick answer.
Thanks.
I do one of these every day. Shoulders, too. CTS as well. Can you guess I'm a pianist? Thank you so much.
That day 2 will be especially go for you then. Now to make beautiful music. Maybe go live on social with that. The world needs piano music right now..
