Nice to be your hero, Sean. I'm motivated to make more videos now. BTW I sleep on the dog bone pillow every night and bring it on vacation with me. So good!
@@dradamfields I use the dog bone pillow for my clients when supine during the massage. To keep pillow sanitary and clean (reusable for every client) I place a dry towel in a towel cabi to heat it up and then place it on top of dog bone pillow...every time I hear "AHHHH"
Thank you so much for sharing these videos, Dr. Fields! I've noticed tension in my neck from home-workouts as well as my jaw from grinding and a lot of stress. Your neck and TMJ videos are continuing to help me. Much love!
@@dradamfields I do DDPYoga (Diamond Dallas Page) but I will be incorporating dog bone pillow when the positions are on the mat...AWESOME! I wish you were on the east coast. There is another GREAT of DC in south Cali Dr. John Bergman, would be lovely if the two of you connected and do the lecture together. I am so glad I found your channel....I'm a NERDY type!
I am doing this series and today I did day 3 , my neck is easily cracking itself I don’t remember doing this since so many years rather i think I forgot this kind of flexibility in my neck was even there! I love the neck and shoulder videos ! Can’t thank you enough 🙏🙏🙏🤗🤗
Thank you, God bless you for the very priceless exercises you so patiently demonstrate….the neck and nerve flossing are my favorite. The kindness you exude is awesome. Happy Thanksgiving! Many blessings, Ann Foster
I can't tell how much relief I got with ur video... today is day 3 of me doin the neck pain relief series and i feel soo good already... so effective each exercises are.. they hit exactly on my pain points and gives me so much relief!!! M glued to ur videos! Thank u Sir... much love from India 🇮🇳
did day 2.......amazing result.. On day one I could not move my neck from side to side. After the video I had some movement. And today, with this video, better still
Once again, thank you so much! I was born with neckproblems, and I've been feeling pretty defeated about it... I found your jaw video's, which were an eye(or jaw :p)opener. Found this neckseries as well, and eventough I'm only at day 2, I'm feeling some hope again. Thank you so so so much
Glad I could help! Look in the description and purchase the Pro Lordotic NEck Exerciser. What a difference it makes. Let's crank back time to the beautiful neck curve you had in the womb ; )
I had to take a day off yesterday, neck was just too sore. But did 3rd day today and the day off did me good! Love these exercises. I've been sharing your videos with everyone, today shared with my dentist and her receptionist! They're going to forward them to patients, especially the apnea and TMJ sufferers. Thanks so much Adam.
Your videos have quite literally saved me! I just did these stretches with my 9 year old who had a headache and now his headache is gone! The dogbone pillow you linked is no longer available. Any other suggestions?
Hi Tiffany, the pillow is available on amazon. Just type in "dogbone pillow". Must be fun to exercise with your 9 year old. I have 5 year old twins. loving it!
Dearest Adam, I have a question... I have a very reverse arched spine, in fact it is compressing my disks and nerves in the back according to my MRI. I'm 67 and riding motorcycles for some 50 years now, figures, huh ? I was suggested to not do forward stretching... I am a bit wary of doing the towel-pulls and these final arching stretches with the towel. What do you suggest in that case ? Everything else is doing me wonders, thanks and Bless !
Hi Jim, I would suggest going to www.idealspine.com and finding a corrective chiro near you. Otherwise, push your body with the exercises and listen to it at the same time. 45° flexion stretching of the muscles should not be a problem but stop if you have pain, numbness, weakness, etc. I would love to see your films and help you through this if you can't find a chiro near you.
Hello doctor, I follow your videos for my neck pain. It’s helping me enormously. Thank you so much. Would you be able to please recommend what’s the best way to sleep. I wake up every day with stiff upper shoulders and stiff neck. I sleep on my back. Is there any recommended way to sleep or any pillow.
I say this with caution. Every neck is different and this may not work for you but this is the pillow i most recommend. www.amazon.com/Soft-Tex-Conforming-Memory-Pillow-White/dp/B07T8BSPS5/ref=sr_1_5?crid=W1P1KXXU7XRC&keywords=dog+bone+pillow&qid=1677131382&sprefix=dog+bone+pill%2Caps%2C239&sr=8-5 It is best when sleeping on your back. If it doesn't work, use it as a lumbar support in your car. I use it for that also. ; )
Hi! I wanted to say that your videos have been soooooo helpful for me as a teacher who is teaching online this year. My neck wouldn't have made it without you :). I have some straightening of my neck and compression of my cervical disks. I'm also a side sleeper - do you think the dog bone pillow would be a good idea? I usually see a chiropractor as well but am out of the area of one for the next few months.
I love the dogbone pillow. Also, get on ebay and buy a Pettibon cervical traction for your door. Pump those discs up. Thank you for all the lives you touch
I did the 3 days yesterday...but I have pain in right arm can't do it completely...I can't do it withy legs because of my right hips and legs trauma...I have no mat.. it's too hard for me.....I did my best...I slept with the roolling clothes...and feel better this morning...many thanks
Hey doc! Been following your neck exercises for a few days now. Recently had a stiff neck from sleeping on the couch and now I’ve noticed I’ve been having neck clicking, grinding / sanding sounds whenever I move my neck. Went to my local doctor and was told it’s likely muscle / nerve related but it’s been 3 weeks now, and the sound is still going on. Also stopped by my local physio and was told to do stretches / exercises. Really hoping the sound will go away after finishing your series of workout.
Glad you found me. You may want to give your local chiropractor a visit also. Someone who does spinal correction. Also, realize you may be doing the series a number of times to make a significant difference. All the best to you and your neck.
If it's your hip, check out my 90/90 video, massage gun for hips video, start doing yoga for hip openers and even look into ESWT for your hips. A lot more info to give but I'm just assuming it's your hips.

Hi Dr. Greetings from Ireland. I've been following these neck exercises for 3 or 4 weeks while also having twice weekly adjustments with my chiropractor. She says I have an unstable pelvis which is causing neck and shoulder pain. I often feel awful the next day, really stiff and sore. Is this normal...? I am also wearing a chiropractic belt across my hips...but long until I feel relief? She really hasn't given me exercises yet but I want to do everything I can to speed things along. Can you recommend some for the hips/ pelvis? TIA. 👍🙏
