Is Islam a religion made for Arabs? Certainly not
I hear many such criticisms that people naturally come to - is God Arabic? Why would God choose Arabia? Why is the Quran in Arabic? - most of these criticism are specious arguments and have no foundations. The person arguing usually also has a double standard and doesn't critique other scripture in the same way. Alhamdulilah Islam is the ultimate truth and reality of existence and Islam is for everyone and anyone.

Allah has no nationality. He isn’t an Arab. He sent his message through his pious servants who were from different nationalities and spoked various languages. Moses, Jesus, Ibrahim, Yaqub (Jacob), and Adam (peace and blessings be upon them) weren’t Arabs but they had the same message as the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Muhammad (PBUH) came for everyone and I mean everyone on earth and in the universe! Jesus wasn’t sent for the universe but only for children of Israel.

As a Arab Muslim with Arab christian classmates/friends, no Islam is not a Arab religion at all. The theological books may be written by arabic the language of what it was revealed on but other than that it doesent advocate for arab supremacy and its not about arabness, on the contrary in the arab world the Arab nationalist movements (co founded by a Arab christian) often clashed with religious people and oppressed ethnic minorities (kurds) even if they were Muslims. thats just without using the quran, thats just a historical observation.

Arabic is the language of scholars - great Islamic scholars like Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Taymiyyah - did not have Arabic as the tongue of their home country
Arabic is a beautiful language and more people should learn about it

There is a great video by the 100 greats which is titled "why the arabs?" Which goes into why the Arabs were great set of people to choose as the starting place for the message. The video is in Arabic though.

Indeed it is the belief of the Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jama'ah that the race of Arabs is superior to the race of non-Arabs, the Hebrews (Jews), the Syrians (Arameans), the Romans (Europeans), the Persians, and others. And indeed the Quraysh [tribe of the Prophet (S)] is the most superior among the Arabs.
And indeed the Banu Hashim the clan of the Prophet (S) is the most superior among the Quraysh. And indeed the Prophet, may the Blessings and Peace of Allah be upon him, is the most superior of the Banu Hashim, for he is the most superior of all creation by his own self, and also the most superior among them because of his lineage (ancestry).

Meaning that it's largely overrode by Piety and good deeds
So a qurayshi miscreant is undeniably way inferior to a chinese or japanese saint
It only becomes relevant when everything else is being equal in terms of piety and good deeds
And even then it's more in terms of honor and specific advantages as a group (honorable customs, prophetic lineage, relative theological purity,...),
not in terms of unfair religious exemptions or nepotism (allowance to contradict scripture, casual disobedience, ...)
Tldr; they're superior as a group through honor and specific advantages with no relevant impact on individual piety and judgement

Yes arabic is superior to other languages
Arabic is a descendant of the sam language which many say is the language taught to adam by allah
This language split into three and became hebrew, aramaic, and arabic

The quran was in Arabic
And Arabic is the most eloquent, pure - rich in meaning and completely preserved

Compared to other holy books that have been "modernized" the Quran has been perfectly preserved. And while this alone doesn't make it divine, it does make it more reliable and historically accurate than other holy books.

God is Omniscient=>perfectly fluent in all languages
God is Wise and Merciful=>would speak to His Creation in a way they can understand
God is Merciful=>would choose one language above all others to make it simpler for His Creation to learn and understand
God is Merciful=>the language would already be clearly established to allow people to learn it smoothly
God is Wise and Merciful=>the language would be easy to learn and understand and without a complex cultural baggage to distract/distort the understanding of the scripture
God is Wise=>the language would be easy to put in writing for copying and printing
The only culture i know of whose language could fufill this role is the pagan arabs
+Alphabetic language
+No complex philosophy/mythology
+Can be easily written
+Related to hebrew and aramaic (compatible with judeo-christian scripture)
As for why Arabic in general?
Well why earth and the sun and the moon?
Why humans?
Why gravity and electricity?
We can only possibly know Divine Wisdom a posteriori due to our relative limited understanding

Is that why it has many interpretations?, or that it’s interpretation changes as time changes, wouldn’t the language be maths, or science something irrefutable and timeless, using poetic metaphors and similes with vagueness is not a good way of communicating through thousands of years. Also you just claiming Arabic is the best language and the only way to understand is by learning Arabic litterally closed the religion of to only a few sect of people who understand Arabic. A timeless message wouldn’t need that like maths or something

4/if we read about the history of mathematics, the understanding of mathematics is in constant cumulative development since the early bronze age
5/how can you use mathematics to express qualitative and spiritual ideas?
6/if you read the Qu'ran, you see that most of it is explicitly clear with a decent understanding of Arabic
7/in history, how many have learned Arabic vs advanced mathematics (beyond basic arithmetic which isn't language worthy anyway?)
8/modern philosophers tried to make a language based on pure logic and it ended up being more complicated and restricted than normal languages
9/an "immutable and irrefutable" language would have to be taught from scratch and would look more like gibberish spoken by an insane person , which would make proselytism really difficult at best
With Arabic, you had an entire population proficient in it which helped immensely its rapid spreading and writing

For irrefutable:
If you mean by irrefutable unambiguous, then it needs to be dry with an immense ultra-precise lexicon, which would make it much more difficult to learn
As for immutable:
If it can be learned easily by people, its spoken words would drift over time due to cultural change unless you control carefully spoken words
Tldr, you seemingly underestimate the clarity and stability of the arabic language as well as the complexities and difficulties of objective(?) languages

2/contradictory
3/both
While one could argue that multiple interpretations can be valid and/or complementary especially if it concerns secondary topics like details about rituals for example
It can even allow for an accommodating diversity which communicates multiple valid meanings to multiple pov's at once

I have been wanting to read the Quran, but I find it very difficult. I have dyslexia, and I'm not good with the Arabic alphabet. I have a teacher at my local mosque, but I feel like I'm far behind the others. This saddens me, and I sometimes feel like giving up.

If you have dyslexia, you are excused since it's something beyond your capacity

If Islam isn’t an Arabic religion why is it so important that Muslims learn Arabic?
Even though other religions like Christianity encourage learning the old ancient languages so you can better understand the original texts, Muslims seem to promote Arabic out of an idea of supremacy.
(Btw no one is saying Islam is only for or practiced by Arabs but we are saying it promotes an idea of Arab supremacy and erases other cultures.)
Forcing Arabic onto other nations is morally wrong and it doesn’t make sense why god would make one language superior over others when he could just invent a universal language.

Christ never taught that all should learn his native tongue unlike your prophet who constantly reminded his followers of how great he was and how everything about him is great.
His language, his skin color, his questionable taste in girls (I meant women….. must’ve slipped 😅), how he prayed, how he ate. And so on and so forth.
Christ told others to follow his moral actions of charity, love, faith, forgiveness, and stoicism but he didn’t describe exactly how we should all do. We can pray in many different positions and in our own native language.
Your false god makes up all these minor rules that all seem to project this idea of Arab supremacy which is really weird because if Arabs are so much better why wouldn’t he make us all Arabs.
Christ preached the gospels to all people and that is the reason why his teachings have reached so far while your have stayed relatively around the Arabian peninsula.
The only non-Arab Muslim countries out there are really in Chad, Sudan, and Indonesia. And even still they gradually have started to teach Arabic and replace their cultures with those of Arabia.
Why did you God reveal scripture in a particular language. Your criticism says God should’ve made a universal language. Even your God didn’t make a universal language, hence, you are criticising your own beliefs as well
