Etho, try making the *lower* pitched notes play *less* frequently, and the *higher* pitched ones *more* frequently. This will cause the chord progression to remain at a pace where it's easy to follow, but keep the high-resolution/fast-paced style you seem to like :)
Also, if you want to have music all the while at the enderman farm, just hook the redstone line going from the pressure plate to the machine up to a short pulse extender?

Hey Etho, for the trading, if you double click on the zombie flesh in the window it will automatically refill it back to a stack without having to drag and drop. Though I can't remember if thats still vanilla or just on the server I play on. I think its a vanilla thing.
SteroidUnicorn I'm pretty sure plugins only run on the server side, so they can't directly alter the way a gui action works, such as double clicking because that is a client side operation.
Etho! For the amplified terrain I'd recommend either going into a Dwarven/ Elven theme where they preserve nature but have contraptions all around. If not that, a Greek Mythology like build might also work. Kind of like Mt. Olympus. I personally have done this over a large mountain range and it was very enjoyable. Hope I sparked some ideas my man.
You have to take into account Etho's building skills. But yeah, an Elven style build would be nice. A bit hard to design a place like Rivendell in Minecraft thoguh :P
I can't remember. But I do watch all of ethos vids he's the best youtuber. But didnt he build some large furnace thing that had a statue or was that on a server. Could go well with a dwarve theme and he's not that bad at building. He's gotten alot better ever since he started arches

+Zahlenteufel1 I think they will despawn quick enough, cause all the entities will respawn, when he is 128 blocks away and as etho explained: The entities despawn quicker than the chunks unload, so when i leave the area the music will be disabled!

Etho, Instead of trying to build structures on the existing terrain in the amplified area you could create some floating islands. This would allow you to make use of the empty space in this area.
Hey Etho, maybe try to place the ender rods on top of a block one block higher than eye level. If you place it in a wall or on a half slab just above eye level you can't see the purple base. I have been using this with netherbricks and the white of the ender rod looks very nice as long as the purple can't be seen.
You could send a giant hopper or dropper line to the emerald machine so you don't have to refill it. I know that's kinda a big ish thing to do but it would make things easier
Tlaloc_Temporal Yeah minecarts are pretty good too, as long as you have the iron for it. I'm not sure how far away the village is from the mob farm. I think it's pretty close though.
I actually *really* like the combination of purple (from those end rods and purpur blocks) and the dull-grey stone bricks. I find the color combination quite pleasing!

Great episode! I felt kinda nostalgic about the musical madness machine. I like that the music stops whenever you kill a bunch of endermen. I got a couple of ideas for the amplified base: Do what Bdubs did in his LP series and use acacia wood and planks for the building style. For lighting throughout the amplified terrain, use glowstone surrounded by trapdoors on top of or on the side of the highest of 3 or 4 high fence posts. Also, don't have them all be straight. Make some of them crooked to add variation. Make the foundation for the grass platforms that you build yourself out of stone structures, so it looks constructed. Connect the houses with paths and rooms inside the mountain. Sure, flying is a much better way to get around, but it's also stopping you from building and walking around throughout your builds. Lastly, build custom trees next to some (or all) of the houses and add vines.

I was a little confused when you said GB Major. I guess odds are that you've seen it as "Gb Major" but that "b" is actually a substitute for a flat symbol, making it "G-flat major". The flat symbol looks a lot like a lower-case "b"

Hey Etho! I love your musical randomizer. However, there is one thing I would do to improve it. You can change the probability of certain notes so that they are more likely to play as chords. An easy way to do this is to skip a note. If you wanted one chord, use the first, third, and fifth note block. If you use the sixth, eighth, and second note it will have a minor sound. You would want to avoid this for this particular music maker. However, I would love to see you make music makers all over your world, with different music sounds for different parts of your world. You could use a blues scale for your netherwart farm, that would fit it so perfectly. Minor scales would be great for the swamp. Please consider this, it would add so much depth to your world.
etho, to build in an amplified terrain, you need to rotate your thinking. instead of building horizontal, build vertical. like a clock on the wall. have your buildings attached to the rock walls, with supported staircases in between. a theme that would be fitting is dwarf mines :D

Make cubfan's nexus for the man cave and make the it sort of like a creative inventory by having chests with all stackable items in it so you can press "q" over it and select what item you want to get a certain amount of. Sort of like an ME system. Have fun with the redstone

Etho I think digging into the mountains would be better than making floating platforms. Find the slanty slope spots and flatten them out at the average height then dig into the mountain to ~ double the size of the platform. Or just less than double
I was watching a few of your older videos, to pass the time, and at one point you mentioned having hanging houses in the amplified area. Why not throw some of those in there as well. That could be pretty cool, could either have them attached to the mountain or have them hanging from a steam balloon to fit the theme :P Either way, looking forward to this build! Hey Etho! I like the theme for the amplified village, the steampunk is probably the best idea for the terrain. I was thinking- you could incorporate a hanging garden-style of building where the buildings are hung from chains or vines from the large amplified overhangs. It would look cool to have a floating or hanging village with the steampunk theme!
With villagers you can shift-click out the emeralds. Also you can replenish the stack of trade items by picking up what is in the trade window and quickly clicking twice. Doing that will refill the stack with items from your inventory. Much much faster then going thought the hassle of moving your mouse from your inventory to the window and back again. ;-)

If Minecraft is mostly medieval themed then purple is actually considered an expensive color since purple dye was so hard to get back then.

Hey Etho! I like the theme for the amplified village, the steampunk is probably the best idea for the terrain. I was thinking- you could incorporate a hanging garden-style of building where the buildings are hung from chains or vines from the large amplified overhangs. It would look cool to have a floating or hanging village with the steampunk theme!

With villagers you can shift-click out the emeralds. Also you can replenish the stack of trade items by picking up what is in the trade window and quickly clicking twice. Doing that will refill the stack with items from your inventory. Much much faster then going thought the hassle of moving your mouse from your inventory to the window and back again. ;-)
