Cool ,good job man . My first drum kit was a flat white (sounds like a coffee) Beverly Kit with Camco hardware and Zyn Cymbals.My mom bought them 2nd hand for $10 for my 10th birthday in 1969 .I am now 60 and regret trashing them.They did not survive my John Bonham style playing nor did my next kit (Pearl).I still play a TAMA Artstar II kit but I wished I still had them Beverly's .

It's supposed to be played not glared at . They make sound you know , just try and hit it ..boing
