Those multi-color cacti are so pretty! I have the blackest thumbs in all the land, but my sister counteracts my plant-death by being the greenest thumb. :D

I always say...practice imperfection and then you learn resilience. Allowing yourself to sit in this discomfort and give yourself the grace to improve it and mess it up and even make ugly art. We miss out on doing so many things imperfectly but they're so fun! This Part of art has impacted my whole life. I practice imperfection through art, gardening and its even come into physical fitness. You have permission to make ugly art ❤. You'll make good art too!
Kristy, I am a beginner, and I have question. Do left handed people paint the same way right handed do? I have watched so many videos & no one is left handed! I am terrible at leaves, but I LOVE to try & paint flowers. Is there any watercolor artist, that you know, left handed?
Such a good question… and honestly not completely the same. Where the big differences happen is in some of the strokes. I find many of the strokes I teach have to be slightly modified to work for my left handed friends. For example, press, drag and lift, left handers have to add a little twist as they lift to get the same result :)

I’m liking it. It definitely has sizing inconsistencies that cause some weird paint stuff to happen now and then but so does Academy:)

‘The Fear’ is so crippling! I know it’s only a paper, if it’s disastrously ugly, but I’m a perfectionist, and anything else is under par.😩
