  • Last episode (Episode 82 Allowing Our Anger) we built a conversation around allowing and normalizing the very valid anger we feel within this human experience- as well as our role in how we react/respond to that anger. Many of you found resonance in this conversation and asked for a deeper dive into the how to of actually RELEASING said anger from our bodies. This episode is for you.

Thank you for your efforts, it is really hard when things come up and happen so quickly that i do not have any possibility to find a way to calm me down and circle starts there again unfortunately but hopefully will get there soon ❤️🌝🌛

Absolutely- as if all the reaction happens in a blink. The work to widen the window of possibility (for a new reaction) in those moments is done outside of the reactive moments. We'll certainly still feel them as humans. Honoring your continued work and awareness and so grateful you choose to share here.

So, this is why I read sooo much throughout primary and high school. Book after book after book, for hours on end…
I’m so grateful for finding your podcast. It is all I’ve been searching for.

I will certainly try the rephrasing. I‘ve felt trapped in a feeling of fear for months now and I can literally feel it in my body. It’s an almost constant state and even when i‘m not actively experiencing fear in a moment, i can still feel it stored in my body. I’m trying to listen to my body what it needs to feel safe, but some fears are either out of my control or can’t be fixed quickly. It’s not great and I wish there was a shortcut or a way to not feel like this again, but I have to accept that neither is the case. But I’m still struggling with how to release it and not give into instead.

Incredibly powerful that you're able to identify and feel this stored in your body. We can't rush out healing. Trevor Hall has a beautiful song you may enjoy/find soothing, called: You Can't Rush Your Healing. The first step to releasing is actually identifying, naming it and allowing its existence to be/be accepted and honored. You're on the path, Carina

Wow! Thank you for both of your perspectives. I'm experiencing the same thing currently with reading but I chalked it up to being overwhelmed or over stimulated 😮

@@SelfHealersSoundboard absolutely! Joking aside, I take this information seriously, and I should be the one giving thanks to you and all else involved. You generously spread valuable truth only made possible by your capacity to empathize, and your love and compassion for others. Truly priceless! The religion I was born into condemned anger, and many other natural human behaviors. Extracting myself from religion has been pure hell, but worth the insights and healing gained in this journey. Anger is no longer a trigger for shame in my life, but now a path to more self awareness, and an energy source that can be harnessed, and used for good.
