I do think that a fun idea could be bring back villains that should have been recurring, but weren't. As for the Butterfly Effect, just have the Doctor not believe it's a thing, take Ruby back to the present, and discover the new lizard people, where the effect then catches up to Ruby. Then you could have a bit of The Doctor trying to navigate the new Earth he has made.
So to remove the Cybermen 2-parter, you could just move Under Siege to the part 1 slot and replace it with:
    Episode 6: Something Wicked
The Doctor and Ruby follow a mysterious signal which leads them to a few days before The Battle of Bosworth Field. Here, they discover that a single Carrionite (a survivor from the Shakespeare Code who fled through history) is trying to conquer Earth, having turned Richard III into her "familiar", and trying to get him put on the throne. The Doctor and Ruby need to stop her and ensure the battle goes as history intends.
Episode 8: Under Siege (same as you said, it's a very fun idea)
Episode 9: Wrath of the Sycorax
Ruby and the Doctor go to a Holiday World which is supposedly peaceful, ony to find out a Sycorax meteor regularly raids it for supplies and a work force, which the management has been covering up to save face.
(Hell, if I had complete control, I'd scrap Space Babies and the finale a 3-parter, with but to being "Dust to Dust", explorig the slow death of the Universe as the Doctor and a slowly dwindling number of allies try to escape it)

The Lady Luck idea for episode 6 sounds very similar to the Church on Ruby Road in terms of the villain being based on luck and accidents

    • @BillWhovian
      @BillWhovian  3 месяца назад +3

@callumhaigh8233 True, and that a good chunk of it is in Carla's flat. But the luck and accidents bit wasn't intentionally trying to take anything from that episode. I didn't even realise the similarity until you pointed it out just now lol 😅

I have an idea, what if Daniel Radcliffe was casted to play the 11th Doctor after David Tennant instead of Matt Smith? Oh boy Daniel would've have a huge job playing both Harry Potter and the Doctor with big shoes to fill at that time.

I'm fine with 8 episodes, but I do wish that the series arc had been spread over two series rather than get wrapped up in one. Like find a smaller big bad to complete series one and have sutekh and the ruby mystery come in at the end of series 2. I think leaving more threads about it and how to defeat a god could have maybe changed the ending to that story and been more satisfying

  • @timothyweers8054

I personally miss the 23 to 26 episode series. With only 8 episodes per series, I feel that the tenure of playing the Doctor, makes the actor or actress cheated out of time as the Doctor.

@@BillWhovian I call the Episode Refuge. It’s basically an episode where the Doctor and his company find themselves on a station called Refuge (a refugee station).
Whilst there they learn that a Refugee ship has gone missing. After finding it they learn it’s being attacked by raiders. The ship is carrying refugees of a race called the Aldorians. A race the Doctor is familiar with and it is revealed that their homeworld was attacked by the Daleks and taken over.
The Doctor then works to get the ship to Refuge whilst the companion becomes friends with an Aldorian named Valia.
Anyway the story ends with the Doctor successfully getting the ship to Refuge before saying bye to Valia though not before telling her that Aldoria will one day be free and that they may see each other again.
I think this one would be interesting as it not only sets up a possible future adventure. But I actually see this one as being a sort of backdoor pilot to a spin off. One that shows the Dalek annexation of Aldoria.

      Story Idea 1: Double Trouble
The Doctor and his Companion(s) arrive on a planet with two human colonies. They discover that the two are at odds and on the verge of war. It’s soon revealed that this is the work of the Zygons who seek to claim the world for themselves. However, The Doctor also discovers that The Rutans are there too and seek to use the world to aid in their war with the Sontarans.
Story Idea 2: Into the Microverse
While traveling through the vortex, the TARDIS malfunctions and is thrown into a microscopic universe where everything is so small.
(Inspiration for this episode comes from the Quantum Relam in the MCU & and an episode of Family Guy where Stewie and Brian shrink)
Story Idea 3: The Greatest Minds in the Universe
The Doctor is abducted from the TARDIS and is forced to solve a universal code that has never been solved before. But all does not seem right when he realises that his partner is one of his oldest enemies: Davros.
(This would be our first onscreen episode featuring Davros without the Daleks and serve as an adaptation of the Big Finish story: Davros)

More episodes wouldn't have changed anything for me. I stopped watching again after the 60th non-specials. So for me, not watching 8 episodes is the exact same thing as not watching 13 episodes.
And I say "again" because I didn't watch the last 2 years worth of Jodie Whittaker's era either. And what I have watched of the show for the past 6 or so years (Chibnall and RTD2)... I haven't enjoyed any of it.
It does beg the question though... where did all that Disney money go? I've heard people say RTD2's Dr. Who had 3x the budget to produce the show... and yet, you still got fewer episodes than when RTD1 started... and that was when it was being funded by the BBC. So where did all that cash go?

Here’s my opinion, could there be crossover episodes between Doctor Who and other franchises/Indie animations/TV shows such as hazbin hotel helluva boss murder drones Marvel Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek five nights at Freddy’s sonic the hedgehog and minecraft,
What do you think Type 40 Productions?

I haven’t even heard of some of those I'm afraid. But whilst I'm not against crossovers in general, I think it needs to be something that feels realistic and could actually happen. And also something which is similar to Who in some ways. So, out of those, I'd say Star Trek is probably the best bet. Star Wars could maybe be an option too. A crossover with Marvel nearly happened in the 7th Doctor comics I believe (they wanted to have 7 crossover with Doctor Strange). :)

@@BillWhovian Also had Nelvada's Doctor Who happened a crossover with the Care Bears could've happened too. But sadly it was not to be as Nelvada's Doctor Who was axed.
I've commissioned my own Doctor Who crossover titles too but most of the ones I'm into would never happen in real life. I'm more open minded on crossovers although there are some Doctor Who crossovers I'm not a fan of but I wouldn't harass or judge the fan of that crossover over it unlike others who sadly do went after me over my Doctor Who crossovers.
