I've been thinking this too. The 60th specials didn't feel very 60th to me more just specials with 2 fan favourites returning. It also felt more of a build up to series 14 I'd have wrote with Tennant in mind the series like this below Episode 1 - the star beast, containing however parts of the Christmas special story , we would meet not only Donna if at all but Ruby being the adopted daughter Episode 2 being Wild blue yonder Episode 3 The giggle back with Ruby as well if not also tagging along in wild blue yonder Episode 4 would be the Devil's Chord And so on in the same order
I 100 percent agree with you on that The 60th anniversary specials felt more celebrate The First RTD Era and celebrate Series 4 than celebrate 60 Years of Doctor Who The power of the Doctor and The 50th anniversary special was more anniversary special then actual 60th anniversary specials
I don't think there needs to be any death in Donna's family, the only reason 14 stayed with the Nobles is because the Bi-generation happened if it didn't he would have continued travelling but he might visit the Nobles like Donna said he should
@@BillWhovian If any should die, it should be Wilf. Not just because he's within a decade of a hundred at this point, but because the Doctor had a huge connection with him (which should actually be the same regardless of his face). Of course, you would have to do the death offscreen since the actor died.
@@BillWhovian Well, he might not do a lot of things. But, as they say, no death really needed for Fourteen to go off. Bonus points if we could get Martha back. (Sorry, I always want Martha back.)
The part were 14 gets angry of his loss is very 10 thing to do and would leave a very nostalgic cliffhanger (bit like how when he parted from Rose in S2)
Nice video. I would change one thing though. I wouldn't kill off rose but Wilf. it would make it more heartbreaking and it would be a good send off for Bernard Cribbins. Also this means rose could come back in legend of ruby Sunday and hopefully in the future
I kinda like Wilf being still alive tbh. But I do agree I agree I don’t like Rose dying either. Maybe Shaun Temple could die instead, and that could have a similar effect? Or as someone else said, maybe Sylvia. Great video btw type 40!
@@chickenphat730 I'd still kill Wilf over Shaun. I appreciate people love Wilf (it does kind of annoy me when people say he's the best companion over every woman who's done it and every POC -- not that I don't like him too). :)
Possibly an unpopular what if but, what if miracle day was never fixed, what if Rex never took jacks blood and the three families got what they wanted, how would the whoniverse look if this is how it played out, would the Doctor eventually have to do something?
This would also be like RTD 1 when 9 started series 1 then Tennant came in. This would however happen for very difference reasons but both would era's would start with one doctor one year and the next for multiple
@@BillWhovian The reasons that 14 would not be as romantic and flirty with Rogue as 15 had in our timeline is: A) Fourteen would not be interested in romance due to him be fairly somber and too depressed to be flirtatious(even though he would be a bit more lighthearted with Ruby around) B) The age gap between David Tennant and Johnathan Groff is so wide that it would be seen as too inappropriate for a family friendly viewing audience(especially on Disney Plus).
I'm mix on this, I enjoyed 4 of the 8 episodes, episodes 2, 6, 7 and 8 however I think Tennant being the doctor again also is a mixed bag. I'd be kind of happy and we would get a full doctor series I like the father daughter dynamic . I think I prefer Ncuti as the doctor personality wise . Rose dying meh ok bit dark seeings she is meant to be 15 , maybe safer to be Shaun or Sylvia possibly even harsh as it is Wilf. Maybe save the doctor lite stories for Series 15 with Ncuti if it were is first. Imagine Tennant staying on for both series 5 leaving after that then coming back to stay for this . 5 seasons and 2 batches of specials
@CaptainDoomDoctorWho According to the man himself, the correct pronunciation is "N-SHOOTI." Not "SHOOTY". How I pronounce it in the video is my very best attempt at trying to say it right. I am not a native Kinyarwandan speaker, so I find it very difficult to say it right. I am trying my hardest to improve. Thank you
Also im sorry but I think Rogue would play out a little bit more different as the 14 you are describing here is a lot more locked up and depressed instead of being the energetic almost sad 15. I like how this mimics the modern who run with the series 1 (minus the special) being played out with the first Doctor then the new Doctor for the rest.
Last time I checked, you don't need to be in a completely positive and energetic mood to fall in love with someone. And yeah, it does mimic the first RTD era a bit
I mean when 14 lifted those boxes from Donna when he saw it was her he immediately gave her them back. By this point he lost Rose, The Ponds, Clara, Bill and the times he got new companions he was always hesitant as he didn't want them to get hurt or possibly die, and 15 is a more energetic new Doctor with no depression. 14 Especially after he has just ran away after feeling responsible for someone's death would probably feel very Ecclestone and not want to risk anyone else travelling with him, even when you said he got Ruby in this timeline he was hesitant and Ruby had to push him.
Good video it would have given season 1 a different vibe but maybe would have given it boost but in hindsight can see why they didn't do it too as it would be maybe a nostalgic vibe and fanservice and sometimes thats not always good so maybe its best he came back for the three specials and got his ending which concluded the first new era in a sense
I have a good what if i want you to make. (At some point not now obviously) Remember when Lytton returned in Attack of the Cybermen from Resurrection of the daleks and was played by Maurice Colbourne, well I want too see how the rest of season 22 and how the rest of the stories would change

@@VeronicaTaylor-me1gg I have technically done the Yaz one as part of my What If Jodie Whittaker Had Stayed For the 60th Specials video. But good ideas 👍
I hope this doesn't come across wrong, but if a member of Donna's family were to die, wouldn't her grandfather, whose actor died, make more sense than yet another trans character (even in a what-if, this kind of bothers me) and a teenage girl at that? _Doctor Who_ doesn't kill kids all that often. Even Sylvia would be better than this. I don't see Donna and Shaun telling the Doctor it's not his fault, but I do think it could tie in to the puppet show the Toymaker did for the Doctor and Donna. Interesting, though. Would be weird to see Tennant with another blonde 19-year-old companion, guilt from another Rose loss, etc. Kind of would like him to travel with Martha for a year if he had another season/series. But I always want more Martha. Reading a fanfic right now where the Master arc didn't happen and they are traveling together still. Devastating when the rumors about her spinoff turned out wrong. My headcanon is that every version of the Doctor since and including Ten periodically calls Martha to chat.
@HuntingViolets Yeah, I just want to say that I am sorry if killing off Rose offends anyone.
