His views on where the hobby is at, what new things are coming to the market and his passion to make us discover things that are not necessarily the high end shaving material gives a much better visibility to wet shaving. Ken, y spoke abt early retirement. Myself did this at 45, after selling my own biz. Now at 70 I can only say no regrets at all, provided y keep yrself busy otherwise, hobbies etc. Cheers fm Singapore, Achim+

I got super excited stumbling across kensurfs shaving videos, never used DE razor, so I bought a shaving brush, soap, bowl, muhle grande r89 razor with feather blades.... long story short it was a struggle to get a clean shave as I wasn’t getting the angle right and had to do multiple multiple passes. I got really bad irritation and razor bumps about a day or so after this. I went back to my Gillette cartridge razor after and really no irritation and razor burn, as this is what I’m used to. It sucks because I just bought all this cool shaving stuff and want to give the muhle another try but am super scared lol....I’ve watched a bunch of videos on how to shave with a DE razor but every one is different and it’s a feel thing along with getting the angle down right so you can actually shave off the hair. I remember my first pass with the muhle DE razor I barely even took any hair off...just shaving soap LOL
Ken, if you want to use instagram you got to have the app on your phone, that way you will get notifications if people comment on your images or message you. I never understood the appeal of Twitter.
No market for DE and wetshaving in the US? Wait a second. Where does the whole soap artisans and brush makers sell their stuff? Ah wait, US! Mmmhhh... We have the old companies like TOBS, Proraso etc. But the modern artisans are all based in the US or Canada...or?
It was a good chance for Ken to learn from you how to make a lather... He is making worse lather from PaulH!!! To be True he is not making a lather at all... He is shaving with soap!!!!
