I always took issue with that improv. Lauren shouldn’t have done that because the dude has a wife he just married and I think she might have fumed over another women pulling a Miley Cyrus on her husband.
@@A_Planner_and_a_Dreamer Watch their behind the scenes videos. Lauren and Tom were and always are super handsy with each other even after he got married, have pet names for each other and are often intimate on screen. No harm no foul if they themselves have no issue

Favourite part of this episode, Chloe meets God and immediately goes to bat for Lucifer and calls him out.
Nah fr tho, Lucifer's smile when she starts going off on God is everything.
Personally, as someone who does enjoy the musical episodes of shows, I really loved this one for the mix. It really used a wide range of music genres to cover full spectrums of human and celestial issues. The show, as we have probably noticed by now, is really a big statement on how things are so different yet so similar for people regardless of status, gender, background etc. This episode really highlights that with not only the characters in the show but those who watch it. Like when you watch and listen to it you may relate or understand some characters' struggles more than others because of who and where you are in life. To me, that is what makes good film/tv/musicals because we all tend to forget that we walk alone sometimes but the journey is all together.
'Smile' is actually an OLD song. Originally written for a Chaplin movie in 1936, it was an instrumental first. Then songwriters added lyrics and it was sung by Nat King Cole in 1954 (and then many others over the years).
Holy shit Spidey called Just The Two of Us being sang in the episode 😳😳
OMG. I love the subtle but powerful bit of acting from Kevin Alejandro @9:28. You can see the fear and panic vanish and be replaced with grief for just a moment before the panic sets back in. Everyone on this show was on their P's & Q's. That's why this show was such a hit.
I was confused for a second why the mom singing “I’ll be watching you” looked familiar and then found out it’s 80’s pop star Debbie Gibson
"Tom Ellis is a fucking star".... I've always said that exact same thing about Neil Patrick Harris. Dude can DO. IT. ALL. And Holy Fuckstick did you just make me realize how badly I want to see them in a movie together! Imagine it. for example a remake of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Starring Tom Ellis as Dick Van Dyke's character and NPH playing Truly Scrumptious. Dick Van Dyke could play the grandpa!
A great variety of music for this episode. Love the sunset on the football field at the end of "Another One...". Dan is really trying to process his Celestial colleagues, and now he has to contemplate that he had a tryst with God's wife ! "Another drink over here !" Lol.
I think Michael already suspects that God is slipping.
Tom can act so well at the same time as singing really well too it's nuts

I had seen several other react series by the Normies. This was my first with Spidey. At first, I thought he was an "okay" addition, but often too quite. As the videos have gone on, I think he has shown that his quietness was from his insightfulness. The other men are great at coming up with connections to lore, but Spidey pulls together the material that has been presented and makes excellent deductions.
Tangent: If I could get my fantasy series made into a streaming series, I totally have a great part for Spidey. ;)

There's no difference. They're all the same "species", it's just God and his wife are truly omnipotent, while their children are more limited. It probably has less to do with there being any actual power difference, and more of it being that God and his wife sprang into existence as-is, while their children had to develop, and just haven't developed that far yet.

Look up how talking about things in terms of he or the guys or whatever the boys other than the TV show The Boys is extremely detrimental to the psychology of people who identify with she her hers girls women things like that. It's a glitch. I've noticed also that I'll comment on a video, and later be watching another, and when I scroll the comments, I'll find my comment from the previous video. It's not actually there, but there's just some goofy shit going on. They usually go away on a refresh.
