I find that final "Dad?" excessively powerful. He's gone from wanting god to leave him alone to suddenly being effected. A caring and almost loving sound. Estranged he may be, but he'd still his *father*
Chloe telling God off is my favorite part of thus episode 😂😅🤣 I usually struggle with musical episodes in shows, because they makes no sense narratively, but in this case it does, because God is pulling the strings.
My favorite thing about this show is that they just try stuff and don't take themselves too seriously. The musical episode, the black and white storytelling episode...the whole point of them is that it's fun to watch.
You saying at the start that you dislike the singing bits and I'm the shouting at you... especially during Tom's version of Wicked Games. it's one of my favourite covers of the song as well.
I usually don't like musical episodes, but this one was very well done. God losing control of his powers and making everyone sing and dance is just hilarious. My favorite song is Lucifer's at the beginning. Tom Ellis has a beautiful voice and puts a lot of feeling into his performance.
I will say, it's better than most musical episodes I've seen and having a decent reason for the singing be God losing control of his powers. I get it not everyone's cup of tea but I thought it was fun👍
The repeated, wide eyed “WTF” face you made in this reaction was _priceless_ to behold. I don’t much care for musicals, but Tom Ellis’ version of Wicked Game was quite good. The cases are pretty forgettable at this point, but that’s ok; we’re all here for the relationship drama anyway. The acting is really excellent by this point; the emotion at the end of the episode will get you, regardless of your relationship with your parents. Side note: Maze used to be on the first couple seasons of the show Spartacus, if you want to check out more of her. (You probably can’t do a react, because that show has a *lot* of nudity and violence, which RUclips frowns on, whilst advertising the next HBO series to feature both.)
god dam it im a day late watching normally i watch within a few mins of upload i have no idea why i missed it but about this episode the first time i seen it i was cringing crying and lmao when i dead guy started dancing i thought the music was going to change to thriller my fav song was ella and maze
God isn't losing his powers, just losing control of them; there's a difference. I loved the segment where Chloe was ready to tear God a new one, consequences or not. Dan realizing that he slept with Gods' wife was priceless, the poor man just cannot seem to catch a break. The best songs for me, were Linda singing "Just the two of us", and Amenadiels' rapping. They were both rather good. Lucifer at Lux was just perfect. The way he took a drink, even if he could get intoxicated, there is simply NOT enough alcohol to kill the memory of his father dancing.
My In universe reason for why chloe didn't sing after another one bites the dust is that God was so shocked (maybe scared) that she had the nerve to stand up to him that he was just unable to make her sing again
Really like this take on a musical episode and loved the mashup song with Maze and Ella. Also, my favorite scene is Dan realizing he’s in front of God 😂
This is one of my favorite episodes. Having watched this episode several times, my perception has changed over time. The idea that God is glitching musical numbers due to his loss of control of his powers (due to age?) held sway with me for a time. I have come to the conclusion that isn't the only reason. In a way, here God is doing several things at the same time. He's communicating with everybody, showing his emotions, and i think guiding people down the path he wants them to go. In modern parlance - hes INFLUENCING. Does this make sense in this episode? I think so.
Such a fun episode.... really liked how the songs fitted in with the storyline. Loooove Tom's version of Wicked Game ❤️ Fun Fact: Chloe's twerking was Lauren's improvisation, hence Tom's surprised look...
Another One bites the dust is my favorite but I love musicals I grew up on them so I love musical episodes it's one of my geeky pleasures and because Christmas is coming if anyone likes musicals try Anna and the apocalypse a zombie Christmas musical
You say that you enjoyed the first musical number but the actual first musical number was Lucifer singing and playing piano which you complained about and skipped ahead.
I adore this episode, but it is a pretty big departure from business as usual, so I can understand you being less than enthusiastic. That said, your extended owl-eyed reaction to Chloe twerking on Lucifer 2:16 - 2:22 is absolutely hilarious.
Loved "Another One Bites the Dust" before the title card and Trixie singing "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin towards the end. And yes, I said Charlie Chaplin. He was the one who wrote that song, though it was originally an instrumental. NKC, I believe, wrote the lyrics years later (he must've heard it), and since then, many people have been singing that song, even the late and great King of Pop.
I like this episode because it was kind of a brake for the cast and something NEW for them to do. And, we got a little bit of the story. How GOD is adapting to this new lifestyle. LOL. And Maze was,,, she was,,, HOT!!!!! I look at musical episodes as a brake. Plus, we still ngot the LUCIFER fix we needed for the week. LOL. Oh, and Amenadeal rapping,,, awesome addition. (IMO) Great Post.
I enjoy musical episodes when they make sense from a story perspective, Buffy was a great example, and this is as well, i mean God made people sing, don't get much more immersive than that :P I really enjoy Dan's rendition of "in the after life" (think that's what it's called)
Why god calling Charlotte his wife? Did they get back together after she got her own universe or is he so delusional he thinks they were still married while she was in hell for however long? It don’t make sense.
This woman skipping through the opening Act. Sorry Ellie. I enjoy your reactions to Lucifer but, literally skipping past scenes is unacceptable. You will NOT be getting a like for this video. However, I'm going to finish watching to see if you come to your senses or not. Maze and Ella will always be a hot duo. Even when they're singing different songs at the same time. Trixie's song always makes me cry 😭 OK, You redeemed yourself. I just hope that you went back afterwards and properly watched the opening. Every song in this episode has meaning.
I honestly hated this episode. I couldn't keep watching them trying to cram the story down my throat through vague lyrics. Kept skipping them, until we got to the important parts of Lucifer's numbers.
Lucifer just letting it happen when Chloe is chewing out god was hilarious lmfao
I find that final "Dad?" excessively powerful. He's gone from wanting god to leave him alone to suddenly being effected. A caring and almost loving sound. Estranged he may be, but he'd still his *father*
Chloe telling God off is my favorite part of thus episode 😂😅🤣

I only found your channel through the Lucifer reacts 2 days ago then binged them all. So happy to see you got to the Musical episode!
Omg that is a lot of Ellie in too little time. I can only apologise
@@EllieroseReacts I had you off to the side while I did stuff lol
Hence ONLY --@@mildlydazed9608!
Lauren was lip singing because she’s scared of singing but Tom and Aimee say that she has a beautiful voice but she’s scared
They all lip sync. They record the music in post with ADR.
@@LancerX916 I know but she wasn’t singing at all
@@LancerX916 The original commenter meant that that's why Chloe didn't have a musical number for herself.
Name hazrulnaimuf

So many good numbers. Definitely love Tom's rendition of "Wicked Games" and Kevin Alejandro's "Hell".
^ Yes, exactly this! ^
My favorite thing about this show is that they just try stuff and don't take themselves too seriously. The musical episode, the black and white storytelling episode...the whole point of them is that it's fun to watch.
All the Red Bulls in the world wouldn’t quench your thirst for Maze 😂
You saying at the start that you dislike the singing bits and I'm the shouting at you... especially during Tom's version of Wicked Games. it's one of my favourite covers of the song as well.
Omg getting closer to my fave episode! This season is so much fun. ❤
Is it episode 5x12 because that was one of my favorites
I really enjoyed that episode, especially the part with MC Amenadiel 😂😂😂😂
Best emotional musical episode ever😢❤😢❤😢❤😢❤😢❤😢
I think Buffy Once More With Feeling tops it.
Yeay been waiting forever 🎉🎉🎉
Mes chansons préférées , la première et la dernière, Tom ELLIS réussit à faire passer toute l émotion à travers son jeu d acteur
the over baring motherr was Debbie Gibson
At 5:14 that was the original point of the song but when Police performs it, it's all romantic and people play the song at weddings.
I usually don't like musical episodes, but this one was very well done. God losing control of his powers and making everyone sing and dance is just hilarious.

Lol I guess you didn't read the title first. It was nice to see you enjoyed _some_ of the songs.
Fun fact...I Believe The controlling Mother at the Police Station was played by 80s icon, Debbie Gibson
I liked most of the songs but when God starts dancing in the club for Dans song it cracks me up every time😂
God isn't losing his powers, just losing control of them; there's a difference. I loved the segment where Chloe was ready to tear God a new one, consequences or not. I am surprised that you didn't recognize Debbie Gibson. One if the queens of 90's pop
My In universe reason for why chloe didn't sing after another one bites the dust is that God was so shocked (maybe scared) that she had the nerve to stand up to him that he was just unable to make her sing again
She doesn't like when Tom sings, but likes music. How?
Oh yeah they did a bts for this

I have always HATED musicals in TV shows, but this one at least makes SOME sense, as God loves people dancing and singing in this universe.
Such a fun episode.... really liked how the songs fitted in with the storyline.
Loooove Tom's version of Wicked Game ❤️
Fun Fact: Chloe's twerking was Lauren's improvisation, hence Tom's surprised look...
I wonder whether the intro is the first time Lucifer said “Oh god”.
the only musical episode I can tolerate is Buffys
Another One bites the dust is my favorite but I love musicals I grew up on them so I love musical episodes it's one of my geeky pleasures and because Christmas is coming if anyone likes musicals try Anna and the apocalypse a zombie Christmas musical
Watch the next one please actually you should do another Lucifer week 🥺🥺🥺🥺

**Lizzo voice** i been waiting for this one
Debbie Gibson! Blast from the past🎉

how about a lucifer weekend? only two episodes, you think you can do it?? 😂

Yall gotta relax 😂
Don't even watch this show, just like hanging out with you.
You should watch the vampire diaries and the originals
i think shes already seen vampire diaries
Quit complaining lol
I honestly hated this episode. I couldn't keep watching them trying to cram the story down my throat through vague lyrics. Kept skipping them, until we got to the important parts of Lucifer's numbers.
Im not a fan of the musical episodes either
Ngl i cant stand musical eps shits just so cringy and unnecessary
