I fitted mine with the nuts not at the right setting and I got a nice sounding whilst but I don't think it's good to do that so requested 😂 Your nuts may have come loose if you suddenly have that symptom just need to adjust.
@@samroda3745 cheers mate, I just checked mine and it's got 6mm of thread showing, which is way more than the 3.5 turns the video suggests so I will try resetting it and see what it does, was the sound similar to what a supercharger would sound like and then when you put your foot down it screams a bit like a split pcv breather diaphragm
@@DailyInspirationbyRick Haha no worries mate I was tempted to leave it as it sounded great but probably cause problems 😂 Yeah it will probably do the trick for you. Few issues nobody told me with the e250s make sure you clear your drainage channel by your wipers or it can fill the engine bay with water caused me no end of problems with the harness 😬
@@samroda3745 I hope so! It's about half of what it was now so hopefully it will sort the noise, I don't want to spend 500 buying a new turbo 😅 tbh there is a lot of things nobody mentions..like on the c class w204 the rear wiring for the lights likes to burn because the earth is too small for what it does, gotta love modern electronics haha
Do you have any information about adjusting the other 2 wastegates? Should they be adjusted in the same way
This is just like my garage, only clean... :)
Do you know the process for a 2.1 sprinter 906 year 2015 please?
Or is it the same?
Are the 3 n half turns to preload the wastegate? And is it the same on the bi-turbo?
Would this throw up a P2263? I have intermittent EML, LOP, black smoke & sound like a boost leak but pipes & intercooler are all good. 2011 E220 CDI
Should you set the nuts while under vacuum or when it’s released?
yes adjust under vacuum
Could you please tell me what was the symptoms before you changed it?
The most noticeable symptom would be loss of boost pressure and the sensation of a loss of power. You may also get a MIL.
Is it possible that this can make a whistle/whine noise as the rpm increases if the diaphragm is split or something?
