We know Mustang owners LOVE to upgrade their exhaust and it’s often their very first modification! Our 2024 Mustang didn’t sound bad stock, but badly needed some more volume!! When it comes to adding more sound at a reasonable price, we knew MBRP would have the answer!!

Nice! That sounds awesome!
MBRP FOR THE WIN AGAIN.
It sounds great!
YES!! This just made me so happy big MBRP fan! Would love to hear some snap, crackle and pops!
Wow sound extremally MBRP!!!! Beauty sound!!!!
Great video sounds so much better.
I guess we have to wait for a refresh to get quad tips being standard again
No kidding. Go up on price and go back to 15-17 Gt’s exhaust. Sure didn’t bring back the pricing 😂
Or just do what alot of 2015 owners do and swap the rear bumper
How is a 42-44k starting GT not have quad tip exhaust. What did Ford really do besides a couple panel changes, an overpriced display setup and dual throttle bodies that are not proven to have much more hp. I love Mustangs but I’m not sold on the price increase of these versus what you get. I’ll go used in another 5-7 years when I get mine. It’s just not worth it. It’s cool and new but ehh. I would rather spend low 30’s On last gen or mid to low 20’s on an 11-14. At the end of the day for me it’s about the look sound and
Motor and it hasn’t changed enough to gain that much in price. No doubt it has more tech and handles much better but it’s no longer the every day persons Muscle car. Like most things now day these are sadly out of reach for people that just a few years ago could afford
Ford is crazy as hel!!! That exhaust sounds terrible. People need to storm the board meetings and demand the best. Shame on the exhaust and design team. You gotta change the exhaust on a brand new Mustang GT??? That's crazy!!!
@@Sonicaceman An that’s the truth. Really the best thing that Ford did was add four piston Brembo’s to the rear on their big brake package. Which took way to long considering Dodge had it for years already
Great Video and install ! I heard in person at Mustang Week and does sound and look awesome! Bill and Jason are both very nice guys!
I have MBRP street version in my 2020 Mustang GT and sound awesome. The H pipe is the real deal for muscle car sound. Thanks guys for great video as always.
Wow that MBRP Race Catback kit sounds like the Dark Horse Exhaust. It has a very nice tone. Great Job!
BRING ON THE HEEEEAAAADDDDER. WE’RE READY!!! Sounds great so far CJ!
Sounds fantastic ❤
Sounds really good
I use MBRP on my 18 GT PP1, amazing sound!
Clamps were cheap and exhaust was welded, FYI.
love the mbrp race on my 22 GT, sounds like a menace
Well I ordered for my 2024 base GT! Can’t wait! Great vid!
Glad to hear it, thank you!
DANG that sounds awesome! I’d be totally fine with a base GT model, too!
I just purchased one today didn't see the point of paying extra
What about ecoboost premium stung 2024?
okay but even stock it sounded bad ass. Now just get some quad tips! Who needs active exhaust!
Hopefully there will be some new diffuser soon for it.
Stock exhaust is way too quiet…but now I’m deciding if I should leave it stock and just keep it as is.
Very Nice
I thought you had tines down the music .
Sadly I was wrong .
My Procharged 2020GT had a terrible exhaust setup with Stainless Works Long Tubes, MBRP race midpipe, MBRP race catback. The MBRP race exhaust has no mufflers, just tiny resonators so basically it was straight piped. The cold starts would have your ears ringing for 10 minutes with the rasp and blow the pictures off my garage walls. Currently it has the Long Tubes, no cats, stock resonator, stock catback with quad tips. Nice and quiet 800hp, love it.
Any "race" style exhaust with long tubes and no cats is gonna be LOUD! I have said for years stock or street style systems for no cats unless you like hurting your eardrums lol
i'd like to see what a mid muffler setup would sound like. I think that's the best sounding location for the mufflers. Not sure why ford decided to change to axle backs.
Lordy , reminds me of my 2016 rs2
Stock was a little too growly, that MBRP sounds nice and deeper
nice!
Thanks!
We need long tube headers . Nice exhaust tho
I like that
Looks just like the 15-17 exhaust setups, now just more expensive lol
This exhaust has crazy drone. Got it installed yesterday. Hoping it settles down the more I use it. Sounds terrible inside the car.
Why is a 2.5" hole saw listed in the tool list?
Would you be able to mix and match this and a axel back system like Roush
Why does the tools needed say 2.5” hole saw?
Got an exhaust for my 2015 GT and had to get a tune because it didn’t run right in normal mode. Felt like i had 200hp in normal mode.Had to drive in sport mode all the time. For my 2024 I’ll stick to the stock active exhaust
We have a resonator delete option for the factory active system coming soon!
Borla S Type is next 😂
Is this S7251blk?
Almost 800$ now? Man and i remember having to think about it when it was 599$.
Yep. I picked up the quad tip setup for my 18 for that much. This new kit looks like the 15-17, just a refresh.
I remember when a Flowmaster catback for my fox was $299 :)
2 1/2 hole saw for what ??
Do you need to ad an O2 bung when installing this? Video doesn’t mention…
There's no oxygen sensor on the catback part of the exhaust, so you wont need to add a bung.
Anything coming soon for the MBRP Armor Lite catback without active exhaust?? I’ve seen on the site what’s coming out but would like something that’s not too loud but also not too quiet lol
The armor lite is the stainless steel systems but they will sound the same. The quieter system would be the street version which we may cover in the future.
@@cjponyparts is there a link for the street version yet? I have a base 24 GT without active exhaust and I’m looking at getting the whole catback soon.
I have a hole saw but where do you get a whole saw?
Editing mistakes happen lol
Would a 2018-23 quad tip exhaust fit the base S650 if you trim the valance? It looks to be very similar! (Asking because I may do this lol 😅)
That’s what I’m going to do! Glad I’m not the only one thinking of this lol. I’m going with a roush full cat back with quad tips! Been looking around for any guidance or if anyone has trimmed the valence but I can’t find anything yet. Will probably just have to measure one with quad tips and outline it onto my mustang to cut.
Please let me know if you do this I’ve been trying to do the same to My s650!!!!
@@Tsla-wt5yk Ha nope your definitely not the only one! Yeah I can’t find anything out there yet on this either so I think your right we might just have to do it and make it work! Lol
@@cleezh6063 Will do! If I go that route I’ll definitely make a video on it!
Will you be doing the same but with the active exhaust?
We have our first active exhaust video coming this week!
Hi. Curious if you measured for any increase in H.P. and Ft Lbs. of Torque
We did not, I would not expect any serious gains with a cat back.
@@cjponypartsyou don’t think it would make up for that extra 6hp they claim the active quad tip exhaust gives you?
is there room back there for quad tips or would you have to cut?
You can cut but there is another option we will be doing a video on soon!
@@cjponypartscan you explain how to do it without cutting ? Looking to do it to my s650 asap!!
Unless Bill is 5-3 or something, that other dude Jason is a giant.
MBRP literally sounds like a truck exhaust. I just ripped one off my Gen 1
So the real question, would a 15-17 MBRP system fit the 24?
The answer is sort of. It will bolt up but the fitment leaves a lot to be desired since the angle to the rear valance changes.
@@cjponyparts thanks for the info! I noticed the hangers all looked the same but couldn’t tell if the tips would line up with the valance or not
@@zeekfarrongaming5302did you try
Where was the hole saw used?
Oops by my editor, should have said sawzall.
Still didn't see a sawzall used....
Can this be used with active exhaust?
The active on 2024 is a quad tip, this is passive only.
So if I want to install a h pipe I don’t need to do anything cutting???
A h-pipe by itself yes you have to cut behind the resonator because its all one piece from factory on backwards. If you installing a full catback system with the hpipe then no
Resonator delete H pipe requires cutting. Install video coming soon!
@@debrae92 I was confused cause he just pushed the entire exhaust out.. so the car doesn’t come come with the clamps?.. so can I cut and used the clamps and not do anything welding.. this my first mustang I really don’t know how the assembly works on these cars
@leoh3738 check out the next video CJs is posting for the exhaust. You'll see why cutting is involved if not doing the entire catback.
I forget how bad the non active stock exhaust sounds
It really needed a wake up call!
Mbrp please offer something with an X pipe already!!!
It sounds so good with the H-Pipe, why would they!
@@SVTHORD a coyote is not a pushrod no it doesn't sound good with an H
@@hialeahhigh and that's why sound is subjective.
@@SVTHORDhe’s right, the H with no cats just doesn’t have the tone. I got rid of mine.
So the 23 axle back won’t work on the 24?
No, they are all 4 tips. The video is a non active exhaust car..
2023 axle back would be quad tip, will work if you swap the rear valance with an active car.
@cjponyparts very true. Anyone selling those valances yet??
@@cjponyparts thank you for the reply, the car I order has quad tips would you know if the 23 quad tips would fit the 24?
@@user-tx3lo6hz3l aslong as your 24 is active exhaust. Yes
That stock exhaust looks and sounds awful lol, the 18+ quads were one of the biggest upgrades over the 15-17.
Does anyone have this exact exhaust? Is so how bad is the drone
The Race catback will drone, if you're looking for something that wont drone. I recommend the MBRP Street exhaust.
@@cjponypartsI just ordered it! Hopefully the drone isn’t too bad. How much louder is the race compared to the street and factory setup?
@@QuesoRen Glad to hear that!
Kind of hard to explain how much louder they are over text, But I can say they both sound good are much louder then the factory set up.
It doesn't sound that much different from the S550...
They are both coyotes and pipe placement is similar so it won’t be night and day, it’s a little more noticeable in person.
:D
1 tip on each side looks awful
Unsubscribed . The music makes this unwatchable .
Get rid of the catalytic converters get rid of the resonator get rid of the mufflers.
Mehh just installed.. you can absolutely tell its cheap af compared to corsa extreme....
Any videos ?
@lil_nono0774 i do not. But its some of the worse drone ive ever heard. 9th/10th gear 60mhp-90mph vibrates the cabin of the car.
A whole saw? Seriously. It's a hole saw.
Hahahah the s650 is a absolute dud! Heavier and slower than the previous generations 🤣🗑️
