    I disagree with the statement "it is not you, it is your supplies". A person can have all the top grade professional artist materials in the world, but still make art that isn't great or up to their personal standards. Art takes a lot of daily practice and experimentation, even with student and lower grade supplies. There is an artist who makes brilliant art with CRAYOLA CRAYONS.

      Yes and I agree with your point, but I wasn't talking about the cost of supplies. Sometimes people aren't satisfied with their art because they're using materials that don't suit them and their style. For example, some prefer pens or acrylics over oil paints, regardless of the cost. The key is to experiment with what you have to discover what works best for YOU. You might find joy in using a simple ballpoint pen rather than trendy art supplies you felt pressured to buy. It's all about exploring what you have and if you aren’t happy with the results don’t be afraid to try something different. How do you create? It’s about YOU. That’s my point. I hope it makes sense.
