Adam Monk hosts the Friday show, basically an anlysis of a game coming up this weekend. Adam Clerey reviews games already played. Its a nice mix of content imo Adam Monk has the most difficult job in football journalism of trying to predict what may happen in an unpredictable game

It feels as if Villa are so unpredictable on whether they're going to play like a champions' league side or a bottom-table side that Arsenal don't know how to deal with them. It's like villa doesn't change performance with confidence or fitness / injuries or anything, they just spin a magic 8 ball.

@RishiSharma-sf6eu We've been increasingly working on cutting out the midfield battle with wither balls over the top, or long balls through the lines. Pau, Konsa, Lenglet are all great at playing them, Tielmans, Mcginn and Rogers can drop back and play them or stay high and receive them and drive/distribute well. And we also have the option of Bailey and Tielmans/Moreno and Rogers linking up on either flank.
Watkins hasn't got the best hold up play, and it didn't work against Spurs or Newcastle, but we're slowly getting better at it. Worked well against Lille, leading to alot of dangerous opportunities and set pieces, and Duran slotted one away in this style against Man City.
Wouldn't be surprised if Duran plays alongside Watkins.

You gotta admit though this channel was shockingly good in their overall prediction of Villa "hurting" Arsenal and Watkins being the likely "hurter".
This is Arsenal's win, the formation, football play, and team rotation we used to play the first half of the premier league is different from the second half. This is an advantage for Arsenal since teams will not have enough time to master the new style of play that is causing problems for many teams.

know the issue with that? you showed man city, with foden on the ball in that pocket... and they failed to get in, against villa both center backs wont also be marking a haaland, especially if watkins is looking to get in behind on the wing when the ball is played in that pocket, freeing one of those up to step up and try win the ball back not white or zinchenko who can stick to covering the wings. Villas only hope would be a lapse in concertation of using the pace down the wings they'll have over Arsenal when their defense has pushed up and playing a quick ball in behind

While I agree that Villa could stun Arsenal again, the Gunners didn't have an in form Jorginho playing for them at Villa Park. If Arsenal do give Villa the ball in the number 8 position they can revert to a double pivot with him and Rice to snuff that out. This game will be VERY different to the one at Villa Park. Arsenal to win 2-0.
Arsenal were the fsr better team at Villa Park. It was their we don't score sitters phase and a mistake.

Arsenals strength is basically their right wing. Most of their attacks occur from that right side. Just overcrowd that place, they will find it hard.
To beark their defense, teams should not attack through the centre. Just make attacks from the wings and it will give you goals.

Feels limiting. Feels bias. Feels There can still be more content for 4-4-2 to do worth looking at as well. I'm not saying I don't like the Arsenal content, I'm saying Four four two can expand their content. Analyze the other games. If possible venture outside English league to other leagues like Bayer 04 Leverkusen tactics, or Barca or Real Madrid. Just more content.
I don't know maybe it's just these two guys, and it's too much work for that one guy. Maybe this is just a hobby, a side job. But this channel has a lot of potential to grow if they want to. Though they are a huge channel at the moment.
