thats not true...he has actually a really big knowledge pool. Its just football is HUGE. and he doesnt just focus on the Premier league like you most likely do. He really likes the Bundesliga per example and really knows a lot about it cause if you like him GO to matches then the Bundesliga is just incomparable to any other league so he fell in love with it at dormtund. Knows lots about La liga too...and EVEN SMALLER leagues like Eredivisie etc.

I think he did well at Derby in his first season, but he should have remained there for at least another season, or cut his trade at another championship club, gaining that crucial experience before making the move to an EPL club.
While he was a great player (arguably the central figure in that iconic Chelsea team of the mid to late 2000s) one year in senior management was too soon to make such a big move, and unfortunately it seems as if his managerial career has been on a gradual downward trajectory ever since.

This season he was sacked when they were 19th and Sean Dyche who's a survival specialist came in. They're still 19th. I'd recommend the people who take cheapshots at Bob Bradley search for a documentary on his time as coach of the Egyptian National Team called "American Pharaoh". He led them to an undefeated qualifying campaign in the middle of a civil war and literally marched in the street with protesters. Of course CAF ended up screwing them over by not seeding them and they drew (IIRC) Ivory Coast when they were just about the top team in the region and lost out on WC qualification.

The fact that Gerrard managed to upset just about every player he was trying to motivate. Constantly publically criticising Watkins and Mings in the press - blaming them for games where the whole team weren't at their best - then as soon as he leaves they are two of the most in-form players in the league. Funny how that happens.

I do have to disagree with a couple of things.
Steven Gerrard is a brilliant manager and was doing an outstanding job of taking Villa back down to the Championship.
Sometimes owners, who usually know nothing about football, should just stay out of the way and let the Manager get on with things.
And as for Sir Terry Connor. Well. A bona fide legend, along side Lord McCarthy. It was our 5-1 humiliation of Wolves, at Molineaux that season, that started their journey to League One.
Even though they are in much better shape now, I remember those days fondly.
Other Premier League Managerial legends, include, Sir Tim Sherwood, Sir Remi Garde< Sir Kevin MacDonald and Sir Eric Black.
They all played their part in relegating Aston Villa in 2016.
These are the crumbs of comfort for us West Brom fans that are now worrying about Administration, points deductions and League One.
As for Ranieri. He must be one of the Top10 best managers in the Premier League history, so far, if you look at what he did at Chelsea and also what he did at Leicester.

He made it there twice, managing 49 games. 6 wins, 8 draws, 35 losses. 31 goals for and 101 goals against. Out of a possible 147 points, he secured 26 for the Canaries, and opponents averaged 2 goals a game against Norwich. Again, I have so much appreciation for Farke, my favorite manager for Norwich, but this record speaks for itself.
