  • Happy 4th of July weekend and happy Frazier Friday #FTLIVE fam. It’s Scott Braun, Todd Frazier and Erik Kratz bringing you the latest around the league heading into the weekend. Happy Birthday Shohei Ohtani! Give us something in the chat that you would gift to the man who has it all. Speaking of LAD, the D’backs take 2 of 3 in that series after Christian Walker hits back-to-back dingers making that 6 homers in 6 games at Dodgers Stadium this season- wow. Over on the east side, the Yankees get swept by the Reds and have now lost 13 of their last 17 games- the Red Sox are coming to the Bronx next. Our senior insider Ken Rosenthal joins the show to discuss teams with playoffs odds of 6% or lower- who do you think they are? Later, our very own Brad Rowland, co-host of Hammer Territory AND host of NYY Recaps Derek Levandowski stop by too. Braun, Fraz and Kratz chat standings around the league right before the All-Star break hits, plus give their Locks of the Day presented by BetMGM.

I've known Derek longer than anyone and I'm still amazed by his passion for the Yankees .

Yankees are going to do some serious volume at the trade deadline to try and patch up holes. This is their Soto year

AJ hanging around a PG event, watching 250 HSchoolers, just a grumpy Dad now on the show. At least he’s not barking at Scott and rendering one word answers. DL him

Other than the cool factor, I don't know why any stud would play the All-Star game mid-season.

The Yankees are either great or appear as though they’ve never played before. It doesn’t appear that there is a middle, and there’s players, and a manager that needs to go. You cannot allow an almost entire roster to slump. Gleyber needs to go, and Grisham along with him, and I’m a fan of Grisham, but he hates NY City, the rest of the team, or the fans, and it’s glaringly obvious and probably deserved. I’d like to see Nestor in the bullpen, and someone behind the plate that can throw out a runner well enough to make some teams hesitant w/ the running game. Watching the games has been interesting because there is a subsection of the roster that need to be spoken to by management in the same fashion as Stroman called out Gleyber. Gleyber, who I liked initially, needs to focus on looking more like a professional baseball player, and less like the Steven Wright of MLB. He’s too fucking relaxed in other words, and he can’t hit well enough or consistently enough to out up with the later.
