2024 Kia EV9 Review: Three-Row Electric Telluride with ONE Catch

The 2024 Kia EV9 is essentially a three-row electric Kia Telluride, down to the dimensions nearly exactly. Our #kiaev9 GT-Line was fully loaded with dual motors providing 379 HP and 516 lb-ft on tap, good for a 5.0-second run to 60 despite weighing about 5,800 pounds.
The 99.8 kWh battery is good for an EPA-estimated 270 miles of range, and Kia's using an 800V architecture that enables DC Fast Charging up to ~230 kW and will get you from 10-80% in about 24 minutes. Going with the mid-tier Wind trim or higher adds a heat pump, which helps with efficiency in colder weather.
It's all really good - but there's ONE catch... the price.
