Awesome interview! I am newly licensed and am a broker who frequents office every Monday. I was a little discouraged when the secret sauce was daily office work but we will see. Thanks for sharing.

This interview was so inspiring. I am brand new to the industry and this really was very relatable and motivating. I wish the host was a little more experienced with interviewing women, there were quite a few moments I felt like I could have gained more of her knowledge, which is the goal of a podcast, if he was more gender respectful. There is a pretty noticeable amount of "mansplaining" her own answers as if we didn't already understand what she was saying. Didn't like how he spent time talking about her being a former cheerleader, completely not important when discussing her professionalism, almost exactly what a man would focus on though when introducing a woman who is dominating in the mortgage industry. Lets get better at this guys, love Ya'll.

Save this for your diary next time, he gave her a platform and hyped her in the first minute, go look at his interview with the former baseball player, he spent 5 minutes talking about his past, it’s called getting to know someone, learn about it and you might get better at networking with people in this business and get close to either of their levels.

Yes she’s attractive, but you don’t “good look” your way to being a top producer. To suggest otherwise downplays her skill and undoubtedly the work she’s put in to get there.

This is an EXCELLENT conversation. I’m relatively new in the business and pretty much beat for beat, this is what my boss told me to do lol. Exactly what u guys are talking about. Networking, Networking, Networking. In the office EVERYDAY because being in the environment constantly promotes learning and understanding. Open Houses EVERY weekend and thru out the week going to events to connect with others. Remember that realtors want to close deals just as much as you do, so helping them, helps you.

The being in an office point hit me like a "Duhhh". I struggled for the first 6 months, trying to start out at home. I joined a new company 3 months ago and the broker asked me to come into the office about six weeks ago and it's taken off since then. I did nothing but flounder at home, and in the past 6 weeks I've closed one and have 2 in UW and a few more in the pipe. What she said about just learning by hearing is huge! It didn't even occur to me that THAT was the key. I've already shared this podcast with friends from my old company who are still struggling at home- get into an office and watch the change!
