    Amazing episode! I spent 3 months cold calling for social media marketing and couldn’t sell myself out of training. Hit my 100 calls every day though. All the advice was spot on. Made me want to pick up the phone lol. Will definitely need to reference this one again.

    Question. I’ve found success reaching people after lunch because In Michigan currently there are more los than loans. Do u have to do calls in morning. Side note I also do my cardio in the evening. I’m a different breed. Am I trying the break the wheel?

    Great episode per usual. Especially liked the reference to Atomic Habits and being the one family member that can change it for 5.
    My question is this, typically I email, messaged on Linked In, or Facebook message realtors before setting a meeting. I’ve asked my circle of influence for realtor connections- so I have good success meeting with realtors.
    Our Board of Realtors that we are members of gives us access to phone numbers of all the realtors.
    Do you suggest cold calling realtors or emailing and then calling?
    Don’t mind doing either but I want to be effective.

      I prefer an intro phone call and then a call. Just have a good pitch ready and look to score a meeting.

    Im a new loan officer and was shocked to hear only 100 calls a week ive been making closer to 500 a day just wondering where you got 100 calls a week?

      The more the better; especially when you are new. 100 is for LO's with 2+ years experience and are already closing 2-3 self-sourced loans per month. Plus, it depends if you are a Consumer Direct LO or an LO who is By Referral and referred by local Realters, Builders, Past Clients, Financial Advisors, Circle of Influence. Consumer Direct LO's will have triple the calls made by LO's who self generate their lads based on building referral relationships.

      @@dustinowen1191 yea right now I’m mostly consumer direct working on trying to find realtors to work with but it’s not the easiest especially because I’m on the younger side most realtors don’t give me the time of day lol

    Hi Dustin, I’m a newly licensed MLO. I just landed a loan originator position @ a brokerage. I don’t know any realtors or industry folks. I’m currently building my social media & circle of influence. While I’m waiting on making connections, I want to cut my teeth in calling leads. I tried the Facebook ads self generated lead campaign, however No success ! where can I buy quality leads?
