I'm a 3rd year physical therapy student--- if you're not having any symptoms/issues associated with the "crunchy" knees, there's absolutely nothing to worry about! Everybody has joints that make noise to some extent, so if it's not causing pain, don't worry about it :)
You can be a doctor in physical therapy you know shit about the impact of squat on the back and the knees. Why do you think Tom had a surgery on knees ? Please start using critical thinking and stop repeating your anti logical bull shit.

I love how Matt's knees sound like a pack of popcorn, even from 15 feet away. Also agreed, E2MOM squats are brutal, especially for anything more than 2-3reps.

I am programming the workout you just did ! Love the idea ! My first CrossFit workout was 300 air squats for time back in 2013 :/ couldn't walk normally for 6 days ah ah ! Good old days !!!
First workout was Kelly. Came from National squad trampolining, so thought box jumps would be a breeze. Ended up getting capped on the 5th round, was hooked from then (even if I still dread Kelly when it’s programmed!) 😂
First CrossFit workout was Fran. Did it at a 24hr fitness. Got 10:38 or something like that and nearly pissed myself trying to walk to the bathroom after I completed the workout 😂😂😂
Ugh, I did that workout on 7/31 and 🤮. I did wall ball shots as high as I could throw the 20lb ball instead of the hop tosses, and for the back squats I just did 75% of my 1RM every 3 minutes for a total of 4 rounds. I also used an Assault Bike instead of the Echo bike, and man, maxing out wattage is a whole new animal. I definitely made the mistake of having my stations too close together and had to take a couple extra seconds at the KB swings and wall balls. I used 1:30 as programmed rest for part 2 and it took me 12:19 to get through those 5 sets with the rest. All in all I liked it, and agree it was sneaky.
