Lover the videos with mums in... and that picture at 6:24... I was thinking which of those 2 girls were you and then I noticed the little chappy behind the first big sister :). This is your best video, what a lovely MUM in a very beautiful blue dress. The final 10s was classic, couldn't have scripted it better.
I leased a Model 3 in 2021 and bought the new Model 3 in March this year. I'm 73 and view this car as my 'forever' car. FSD is getting better every month, so I expect to be behind the wheel when I'm over 90.
I'm the same age as your wonderful mum! I drive Model X and my new CyberTruck, never too old to learn new things in life where it keeps the brain cells fired up.
@@TeslaJigsaw It's a truck but drives like a sedan, I traded in my Model S for it which it is truly dream car to drive for long distance travels hugging the road yet CyberTruck can give a run for MS by a country mile. Bring your mum to US, I'll let her drive around my CyberTruck.
*Mum Update* In hindsight, she said today she really, really enjoyed driving it. Hopefully a video to come titled ‘Helping Mum choose her first EV’ 😂 Thanks Dave 👍
😮have to say she did really well, most people I’ve taken out are of the impression it’s like driving a technical computer on wheels . They are astonished how easy it is 😊😊
That was very sweet. Tell your mum she did great and the nerves didn’t show 💪. It’s funny, but even though the ev is simpler, because it’s (regen/screen) different it throws people off more than you’d expect
I hope mum knows that you can alleviate calf cramp immediately (or even before it begins, when you get the "warning" cramps) by pointing your "toes to your nose" (stretch your leg out and tighten the calf muscles by pointing your foot / toes upwards - sounds counter intuitive but always works).
Great video! Wish my parents were still around to be able to do the same, I think they would be similarly confused, impressed and curious as your lovely Mum.
I don't have to drive my 2019 Model at all where I live, FSD drives me around. You don't know what lurks in your Mum's head. I was like her till I got 3.9 in 60. It was like giving Mickey Mouse a Ferrari. 111 mph, no problem. I've come to my senses since then. Jeannine
I hope Mum reads this comment! ⬆️ I talk about folks being driven around in their Tesla’s and you are the proof Jeannine! 👍 Perhaps I could pursued Mum to do a 0-60 vid next 😂
@@TeslaJigsaw oh that’s wonderful news. I saw my mum and her partner and they had a Vauxhall. I couldn’t find one (EV) for the same money but I swear she would have given it a go.
Great video/idea biggest omission on electric cars - besides emissions - is how EASY they make driving/ownership. Could not go back to the ‘steam engines’ ICE.
Excellent! What you might also like to mention is that in the very near future FSD 12.5 may actually make all Tesla vehicles drive themselves. Just imaging how easy this would make driving for older nervous drivers. Just enter your destination manually or by voice command and the car will drive itself! How cool would that be? This is one of the many reasons why I bought my Model Y - so that in a few years time when I don't feel as confident at driving as I do now the car will actually do the driving for me. Every OAP on the planet will suddenly want to buy a Tesla if it can act like a robotaxi and take them anywhere they want to go safely. Just i,age what that will do to the TSLA share price.🚀🚀🚀🚀
8:04 I may never leave the USA, but even were I to one day visit the blessed isles, as much as I love driving stick in here the USA, I can tell I'd never do it right in the UK -- I doubt I could ever learn to shift left handed! First time I've ever even considered this. Thank you for the proprioceptive dissonance this pic creates in my imagination.
Pop on over, it’s lovely! (Mostly) I’ve driven cars & motorbikes in many places around the world… it’s surprising how quickly you adapt to left/right driving, and fun trying!
Your Mum was a natural and stole the show! Well done to her and great to see how quickly she adapted!
What a lovely mum!
Tell your mom I am impressed. She is a natural on the screen.

How lovely, thank you 🙏
Great video. Your Mum was a confident driver after just a couple minutes... what a natural.
Electric is the Way - Your mother is very nice
Indeed. She’s lovely 🙂

Great to hear - enjoy!
Want one as my forever car too.
Exactly my thoughts, FSD is the holy grail for older people 😊
Loved your Mom in this video.
Congratulations to your Mom. She did well driving Tesla for the first time.
Awesome🎉.
Yes! Thank you 🙏

@@inciwillard991 Fantastic, thanks! 🙏
It was very nice to see your Mum, great video showing how anyone who is used to an ICE car can easily drive a Tesla.

Your mum is a lovely lady. Chapeau for her testing an EV …
We've all just learnt a new word! 😂
Your Mum is "Mrs. Content" 🙂 Great fun!
love this video
You mother is darling, thanks for the video!

Hi mum! Great to watch a first experience. Greetings from a future Model Y Juniper buyer in Spain! 😎👍🏻
It's got STALKS .........hang on to it !!!.
Star in a reasonably priced car ❤ Mums rock!!!
Such a great video and Suzi was fab!! A real natural ❤
Greetings from Germany. After test driving my MS my mother (74) swapped her Mercedes C-Class Diesel for an electric Peugeot 308.

Thank you for your advice- I’ll remember that when I jump out of bed with horrible cramp 😊
This video shows how every elder's excuse for not driving an EV - due to fear of a supposed learning curve - is non-valid. Great video!
What a BRILLIANT video. Thank you Jigsaw Mum! I've shared this with some of my "mature" friends.
I’ll pass that on, great to hear 👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it from Jigsaw Mum 😊
Loved this show with your mum, Having a Tesla will also extends the time one older parents can drive for.
Fun video thanks.
Screen tilt kits are great for better interaction with the screen. I love ours 😊
Ooo, nice!

Nobody wants to drive an EV, until they drive one.
Well done Mum!! Awesome video you looked so relaxed 😂….maybe I’ll have a go one day!
Nice drive ! I was hoping we would stop for a creamy! Must make your mom a regular ❤
It’s nice having special guests for videos! 🙂
What great idea Will. Did he enjoy it really? 😊
She did, so much so that she told be today in hindsight that she really, really liked it 🙂

Thanks... that was most enjoyable. I'm holding off buying one until I see the Redwood.
I can't wait to see this little Tesla! Perfect for us Brits!
Top content!
Love this type of vid. Showing new people evs. Film more please.

Take magnesium supplements for cramp.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting that too! fair enough though, it’s a very difficult problem to solve! Let’s hope they crack it & roll it out soon
Great review

Mother Jigsaw, what was Will like as a child?
…flippin lovely of course?! 😬
When Will was a child he was never happy unless he was on wheels of some kind going as fast as he possibly could
…true story 🚗 💨
A lot of fun.
Ohhh gawd
Crotch Cam.
Great Video!
if your mum suffer from cramp maybe consider taking magnesium, or electrolytes with low sodium levels.
Thank you, yes, this was suggested in another comment and I believe she has tried it 👍
Do y'all have base Autopilot in the UK, yet?
Oh yes, I use it all the time… Mum didn’t fancy trying it though!
I’m wondering what that item behind your heading is..
A wobbly iPhone recording 👍
If that man with neck problems.... "couldn't possibly drive a Tesla"..... What the hell is he doing with a licence?
Indeed! How could he possibly check his mirrors?!
That’s what I thought too!!
Put it in Creep mode to ease her into it.
She’s never driven an automatic so doesn’t know what creep is 😬
