Some of my favorite lyricism right now and fun sounds with good sad songs. Midori Desu - Midori Don’t let the intro deceive you, one of the hardest punk records ever, with a great fusion of jazz in there. And the vocalist gives some of my favorite vocal performances of all time. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Just a fun feel good album with unique vocals and clustered yet beautiful sound scapes.

You may still enjoy their other work (Bonito Generation and Intro Bonito are what I'd recommend). It's less rock but still has an ecclectic sound and Sarah Bonito's sentimental lyricism

civilisation by kero kero bonito is technically a compilation of 2 eps but it is a great album i personally enjoy it just as much as this one
