This was so amazing Rigel! I always love what you bring to the community! I gotta try the sugar scrub for your lips...so cool! I wonder if Spanish Sage would work for that recipe? If I try it, I'll be sure to let you know. Even though it's quite bitter (which I don't really mind), I'm sure the sugar will make it pretty good and the smell would be so lovely! I'd probably use that and Wild Orange together. It actually smells like an orange grove from my experience with them in my diffuser. I'm making sugar scrubs as gifts this Christmas so that'll be really fun. I absolutely love doTERRA's lip balm but it'll be more fun making my own later on. And with SuperMint?! Genius! How did your homemade sugar scrubs for Christmas work out? Did you end up trying Spanish Sage in a sugar scrub?
@@rigelsmith I haven't gotten feedback on them yet but the ladies I gave them to (my Mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and a couple aunts) were really appreciative of the gifts! I'm still making and using mine all the time! I gotta try Spanish Sage soon...haven't gotten to that yet 😊💜

Thank you for this video. I do have a question to ask ~ what other oils do you recommend to use if cannot use coconut oil? My niece's fiancé is allergic to coconut oil.
Hi! You can use other carrier oils such as almond oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba, ect. However, you wouldn't be able to substitute those carrier oils in this recipe for the coconut oil since it would change the texture but you can do a goggle search for lip balm recipe without coconut oil. I'm certain you will be able to find a recipe that will work! :)
