Ellen, I may have some amazing information to share with you! I first saw you lip balm making video a few months ago. I had suggested using a ketchup or mustard bottle for filling the tubes. The method you used today was great but I ran across something that may be life changing! Have you heard of lip balm flood trays? The one you are using would work but it would require you filling all of the holes in your silicone mold. If you have not heard of this search RUclips for it. It could make the world of difference. When you are making small batches I think your way is good but if you are going to do a whole tray I think the flood tray is the way to go. Always enjoy your videos!

@@EllenRuthSoap ellen I sent you an email just a bit ago ...but as for using the syringe method I had a thought/idea pop into my head for keeping the product from solidifying while in the syringe....get a clean wash rag wet it ring it out set it in a microwavable bowl before you put it in to microwave and warm it for a minute or two let it cool for a minute take it out with a set of tongs lay it inside a ziploc bag as flat as possible close the bag up let air out and wrap the bag around the syringe tube and that should keep the product from hardening or fill a pot with water bring it to a boil grab the cloth with tongs make sure you are wearing a pair of the rubber cleaning gloves with either method but with the stove top method you'll want to have those rubber gloves handy after you pull the cloth out with the tongs, then ring the rag out and lay it flat inside the ziploc bag and wrap it around the tube and fill away!
