In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a seated upper body and core strengthening routine using dumbbells for added resistance.
Upper body and core strength is important especially when choosing an active lifestyle. Strengthening this area of the body helps with everyday routines like carrying groceries, getting in and out of the car and even taking a shower.
This is an all seated routine which helps stabilize the lower body so you can concentrate more on your form and range of motion. This is an intermediate level routine so be sure to preview the full workout before beginning if you are unsure of your fitness level. Remember to take breaks when you need to and keep your water close by.

After two days of interruptions, I finally got to do this wonderful upper body workout. I added a short cardio before I started the video. Thanks for adding abs, they're still my weak point even after two years of workouts.

Hi again, Meredith. Thanks for the motivation to pick up my 10 lb weights. The burn is real. I dropped to 5 and 9 lbs and used alternate arms. I will be coming back to this workout. I can't wait for the seated lower body.

Dear Meredith, you killed me today... in a good way, of course. Anyway I wasn't expecting so much workout At a certain point I was thinking... OK, I'm giving up, I can't do it, but as I'm stubborn, instead of giving up I increased my pace. WOW! So good, even if my muscles were yelling at me... stop crazy old man; give me a break! 😄 Now I need to rest for one month at least! 😂 Kidding of course... thank you a lot Meredith, you are always the best coach! If I may... you have a wonderful body, I like your muscles a lot, not too many, nor too few.

Hi Meredith. I have to say that I am so happy that I found your workouts. I have sciatica in my left leg which it makes it painful to stand for long periods. I also have kyphosis. I believe Meredith’s newer weights are 5lbs and 10lbs.
