    Using some resistance during your training is a great way to maximize your energy to help you during your day to day activities.
    In this session, we’re using very simple light weights (2 - 5lbs) to add some great resistance to our movements.
    If you don’t have any weights around the house, substitute using bottles of water or cans of soup!
    For this session, we are working in all areas of our bodies from a seated position which will help keep you focused, comfortable and relaxed.
    As always only do the movements you feel comfortable with and don’t forget to drink lots of water.

    As a senior in my seventies, I truly appreciate your videos. I was swimming every morning until my community center closed and I am glad to have found your videos as an alternative.

    I’m not a senior, but I am disabled with multiple sclerosis and fibromyalgia. Just found your videos while searching for seated exercises I can do. Thank you for these! They will help me🙏🏻❤️

    This video of yours is a god sent lm 73 yrs after walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes with plantar fasciitis it becomes very hard to stand with this exercise l get all l want and really enjoy doing it l try to always do it twice because of my osteoporosis this is a perfect exercise for me thank you from the bottom of my heart God bless you.

    Meridith, I did 2 sets of this workout today and it was great. I have decided to do this one at least 2x a week. I used a 3 lb weight today but I’m sure I could use 5 lbs.

      Also wanted to add, As far as the scoliosis specific video...it is best to do core and back lengthening and strengthening exercises, which I do put in most workouts. It is hard to get into specific areas and ailments not knowing a persons limitations with it. I tend to stay quite general with the whole body being worked, and allowing each individual to go at his/her pace.
      I do appreciate your comments, and will keep you posted if I do a specific scoliosis video.

      Hi Marlena! Thank you for the comment! I have actually worked with a few seniors who do suffer from diagnosed fibromyalgia. What I have learned from talking with them, and doing research to help others, is exercise is actually the key to helping. Remembering, slow and steady wins the race. Starting gradually and easing into exercise is the best way to get the body used to it, acclimated, and then feeling better. It is all about strength, stretching, and cardiovascular stamina. And always, always listening to your body and only doing what feels right on that particular day. Each day is different for everyone especially sufferers with fibromyalgia.

    Good Morning, Meredith my name is Nakita Thomas I was wondering if you can do some exercises for Dis Degeneration I found some exercises on RUclips, but it's hard for me to do floor exercises, so doing your exercises in a chair is easy for me. ❤
