Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year everyone! Chinese grandpa wishes you a year of prosperity and luck! (Only if you subscribe and press the bell though... Subscribe here! ►: bit.ly/3ihuHxb )
I lost my grandpa in 2019. It just hit 3 years since his passing. He was my bestfriend and he was more of a dad to me than my actual dad. Lived with him all my life. Your grandpa reminds me alot of him, LOVED to eat, funny, crude, kind, even down to his agreeable nature and the same laugh. Sometimes when I feel lonely or miss him I watch these videos, your grandpa gives me a similar feeling to mine and they make me feel happy, like he's here with me. Please treasure your grandpa because lord knows I miss mine. RIP Jerry, I miss you ya funny old perv.
May you enjoy your grandfather for many happy, healthy years. The wisdom my dad shared with my son is embedded forever. The only value a man has is his word. You lose your word, and you lose your value.
Gung Gung is so cool! My Chinese grandfather would not approve of your charismatic personality. He would say you were being disrespectful. But I enjoy your videos :)
GLAD to learn chinese new year. Southern cuisine for new years is awesome too, cheers from NC. Not all southern states celebrate the same; however, have to eat pork- snort snort🐷🐖
The reason why buddhism don't eat meat is to save animals from extinction. Let's say I give you a chicken and nice house. you have millions of angry military, people, police. They are hungry. Theywant to go to war and eat over it. So, how would you solve a better Chinese New Year ? hope you understand that.
@@screenapple1660 Friend, you don't have to explain what Buddhism is I live in a Buddhist country. Even if I myself isn't a Buddhist and doesn't agree with its philosophy, I grew up and still live among them. I'm saying there are monks that eat meat and there are monks that don't. Buddhism itself allows the consumption of meat. Let the family enjoy their festivities.
Chinese name the dish different, just to make the celebration more happy. Just like western like to eat turkey during thanksgiving day. I believe they also don't why.
