Another Rwandan in the comments ❤ II believe that God directed me to this podcast. I have been watching for 1 month and will be here for a very long time. God bless you Laterras for your obedience to God. I can't wait to watch when God reveals your future wife
This couple is still young, but they have so much wisdom on marriage and how to treat your spouse. This is a must watch for anyone wanting to take their relationship to the next level. ❤
My husband is not into relationship podcasts, but this episode captured his attention! And it sparked good conversation for us. This couple was insightful and relatable. Thank you for the wonderful nuggets of wisdom. ❤❤
I love that she shared that you can be married and not feel love if you start growing apart... you have to make the choice and be intentional about loving your spouse. It is choice we make, marriage is not always roses...but when it gets tough, be intentional and deliberate
I absolutely love this couple. I love that her husband loves her enough to teach her and wants to see her win. I also love that she covers her husband in prayer and respects him. He constantly empowers his wife to fly without any jealousy or fear. I love this couple’s take on marriage. I also admired what Mr. Akintayo states about first ending poverty amongst Black people first before ending racism. He noticed that he had no racism when I was the head of his corporation because he had the power to hire or fire people.
Whew!!!! I mean every episode I don't think it can get better but it does every time. The way this episode ministered to me?! This is a ministry and its healing so many. This couple, and Mr. Whitfield you preaching. This podcast has become your pulpit. I AM BEING TRANSFORMED WITH EVERY EPISODE! Blessings
'If you want to end racism, you have to start by ending poverty'! That's the best thing I've heard all week; and it echos my exact sentiments and life's work. Thanks for an amazing interview, as usual Laterras!
Keep doing what you're doing brother. You're sharing your platform with lovers, singles, the broken, and those who have healed. Always remember, you answer to God, not a man.
I have done the same thing to my husband, I have booked the restaurant for himself and he was like what alone in a coner? People will think what wrong with him? It’s was a good idea and I love it because we have been married for 35 years now! we laughed after he came home 🏡
I sent this podcast to my daughter & adult grandaughter. I think on Luke 4:18 for all that can hear this beautiful couple's marital challenges and how they overcame them.❤
I love how they hold hands, and she touches him gently on the leg. They look into each other's eyes lovingly. I don't see that a lot on the podcast. (I'm not saying I haven't seen it on the podcast, but not always.)They are so authentic with their expression of love for each other.
I love love this episode ❤❤❤. Even though I am from African America I love Nigeria and the Nigerian culture. This was a blessing to hear. Especially being from another culture and across the water. ❤❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love this couple. I love that her husband loves her enough to teach her and wants to see her win. I also love that she covers her husband in prayer and respects him. He constantly empowers his wife to fly without any jealousy or fear. I love this couple’s take on marriage.
This couple has gifted me more than they could imagine. There are too many to mention, relational and professional! God bless you, Laterras, and the Akintayo family!
This was my first time ever seeing this podcast. It was a phenomenal episode. I have been praying, waiting on God. While I prepare myself for marriage so that I will be a Blessing to my future husband. This has been a Blessing to me.
What you're calling mentoring, is what my family and in my culture, we call networking. Networking is when you make yourself even more useful to everyone in your life than they ever be to you. It's a mindset of 'making your bed before you sleep in it'.
We can learn from other cultures about how to overcome challenges. Lifes' journey has ups and downs. It takes an open heart to learn and communicate each other's love languages . I like the fact that they kept some of their financial struggles in-house. Everything worked out for their good. Amen ❤
Good morning all!!! I love my Nigerian brothers and sisters! Hung out briefly with one after yoga yesterday. It made me really happy. I can't wait for this interview!
I am from Nigeria, and I appreciate the Akintayos for redefining a cultural and godly Christian marriage. I love this episode; it is fun and powerfully inspiring. Thanks, Laterras, for being cross-cultural and intercultural with your podcast. God bless you.
British Kenyan watching from London, UK. 😃 🇬🇧🇰🇪 Fan of DFW! 🎉 Powerful lessons for some men, YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE IT ALL TO ASK A WOMAN OUT, IF SHE IS THE RIGHT ONE - GO FOR IT! 😎
Thank you for loving your wife and healing your Queen! What a beautiful thing! Laterras, when you said that it brought out a cry from deep within me. Didn’t see that coming! ❤
Fantastic Content! When I think of Nigerians, I think of rigidity. However, with all the stereotypes I've heard about Nigerians, "Business" is 💯% accurate. Even contemplating marriage, the Dr. thought about what would contribute to his future vision & net worth - - not what would decrease it. This was so enjoyable with many POWER POINTS. I've said it before & I'll say it again, "Dear Future Wifey" Podcast should be a session within marriage counseling. To God be the ALL the glory for ALL our successes. Note to the unmarried: Don't waste time with anyone who doesn't support, encourage, display honor, nor has a servant's attitude.
I made a promise to myself to commit to being more intentional on watching season 9. This episode was by far one of the best this season. Thank you for sharing Dr. Stephen and his wife, I've never heard of him but I learned so much. This was a defiantly a learning of love and building in our communities that begins in the home with love. Thank you. I LOVE this episode.
My basket is full! What Bisi said about them making the decision to keep their business in their home is so true! Long after you've moved on, your family and friends are still holding on to it. This is wisdom! Praying intentionally for my husband is also something I intend to practice. It's easy to make yourself fall back in love with a man who is genuinely a good person if you so desire. They are so funny! I love the way they vibe with each other. It's very clear that they support each other and care about each other's feelings. May God bless them with many more years together. Loved your letter, Laterras!💞💕
Thank you for this podcast Laterras🙏🙏I didn’t know men actually pray for wives!!I thought it’s us women who do that You have no idea how much your message and your guests have reignited my faith.Thank you King🙏🙏
The way I run and left everything, CLICK AND START WAaaaaTCH 💃💃💃💃 Mr. Stephen is like a Big Brother on IG and the way he speaks about his wife is heavenly 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 #LoveThem and they story is just BEAUTIFUL 🔑 Thanks for inviting them to your show. Let me know whenever you're DMV, I would love to share my story too IF my husband is willing 😂😂😂
Thank you for introducing me to this powerful couple. The wisdom Mrs Akintayo share was priceless, took many notes, one day I pray to be able to execute in my own marriage. May God continue to bless them and you.
Bro. Laterras, This has been your best show to me yet. You presented to us a show with Great content, I loved every moment of this show, so much so, that I am ordering 2 of Dr Akintayo’s books. His wife Bisi is a beautiful women of God who has allowed God to direct her life and love for her family rein in every area and it made her house a loving home. They were incredibly inspiring, I hope to many of us, who’ve watched this particular podcast. Please continue doing what you're doing, we need more couples like the two of you to be as transparent as you were. I've learned so much just by watching this podcast, thank you for being you! What a beautiful episode. So many gems dropped. They’re a beautiful couple and exemplify purpose and submission as I believe God intended it. Thank you for bringing them and getting Bisi to open up and share her wealth of wisdom ❤❤
Woooowwww I really loved this episode... very transparent and very LIT! Oh my loved this couple. Loved what she said on gleaning from older couples and also not sharing whatever is happening to them with anyone those are great gems right there. There was just so much shared by the guests and Sir Laterras did a great job of pulling it out of them and also preaching on this episode... From this episode you learn that the ways people meet and get to marry each other is different and that intention has a great role in choosing a partner. I think Dr Stephen saw a purpose Partner in Bisi (in the words of our DFW host). He was intentional... she prayed and God spoke to her and irregardless of how she felt and how she saw him she listened. Thank you and God bless you.
This episode is 👌👌. The Akintayos thank you for sharing true wisdom with us 🙏🏾. And Laterras thank you so much for this platform. I am learning and growing every day👍👍
1:13:41 This is an awesome interview. I see myself in some of the things Bisi spoke about. I also love how you always reference the word of God with specific texts to tie in what you have to say. You sounded like you were preaching. I pray that God will continue to bless your pod cast and bless you with the wife you desire and need. Be blessed!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This podcast is healing, full av warmess, laughter and wisdom, thank you Laterras. I watch you almost every week. God bless you 💖😚 love from Stockholm Sweden

When he said that GOD doesn't get involved in matching because when HE did it Adam blamed GOD for what went wrong, I busted out laughing. Dr. Stephen has a very valid point 😁😁😁. I'm behind on the podcasts & am pleased on those I've seen. The podcast continues to be a blessing & making wonders on the relationship landscape. Blessings on Laterras & the Akintayos. Amazing discussion, very informative & blessings.
I tell you there's a different anointing on season 9. Stay at the feet of God King, the anointing that's on this season owwwww I tell you it thick. Thank you Holy Spirit🙌🏾 Kingdom couple, I love it👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Another great interview👏🏽. Thank you💐

...I think that's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard...👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I love that she shared that you can be married and not feel love if you start growing apart... you have to make the choice and be intentional about loving your spouse. It is choice we make, marriage is not always roses...but when it gets tough, be intentional and deliberate
Great episode! My father in law said no when I asked for his daughter hand and 10 yrs later my wife and I are still happily married.
I absolutely love this couple. I love that her husband loves her enough to teach her and wants to see her win. I also love that she covers her husband in prayer and respects him. So encouraging especially the part where God spoke through you “Sometimes You have to encourage yourself.”
Yup first thing I noticed is how he looks at her and how she touches his hand/arm when she’s sharing something about them ❤
I saw that
“I didn’t know how to love the kids because I didn’t feel LOVE myself”.. That part
That really resonated with me, especially as I try to mend my relationship with my mother. Now I'm crying...
I sent this podcast to my daughter & adult grandaughter. I think on Luke 4:18 for all that can hear this beautiful couple's marital challenges and how they overcame them.❤
I LOVE the way they are dressed.
So Beautiful.
So Regal.
An intentional man with a sense of humor & purpose is a beautiful thing. ❤ We need more of this to build healthy love legacies.
I love this… Do not take you husbands anointing for granted!! Don’t become so familiar with who he is!!!🎤🎤🎤🤎🤎🤎
