It takes a lot of reminders to slow down sometimes, life can get a little out of hand and be moving at such a fast pace that we are constantly thinking about what needs to be done forgetting to stop and smell the roses. Love Azalea's new boots. My youngest daughter, from 18 months until school began, refused to wear any shoes unless they were pink. She's 22 now, 20 years ago pink shoes were hard to find. I finally found some and bought them in 3 sizes!

Today had been an especially hard day for me with the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, the devastation in my home state of Louisiana, antivaxxers flooding hospitals, you name it! Thoughts of you & your sweet family helped me through my emotions today. I have a beautiful community of artists here on Oahu that need my live & support to thrive as they should. Hi again , my friend has an orchard near where you are called YaYa Farm. It's really low key and fun. She makes apple cider donuts and pies. Its just a fun place to visit and Sharon is awesome

Azalea is the cutest! I've said this before but I'm not a kid person but she is just so involved and has a little adventurous spirit. You guys are really instilling in her a love for exploration and the little things in life.

I think 'bushwhacking' is when you have to cut yourself a trail with a machete or other cutting implement, because the growth is too thick to walk through otherwise.
That's what I thought but, apparently, the cowboys say otherwise.
@@barbibutton9619 Well some, (only some, mind you) cowboys say a lot of things. I worked on a dude ranch where some thought it was quite fun to say things to the guests just for their own amusement.

Am SO grateful that you recommended the Jackery a while back. I bought one thru your affiliate link. I just rec'd an email message from them that they are now offering carrying cases for those in different sizes. Thankfully my son & his family also have a Jackery & given the recent onslaught of various disasters, it brings a lot of peace of mind to know that you have back up for charging phones, laptops, etc. for communication. They took the Jackery with them on a recent camping trip as well. Also, thanks for the great tip of adding pesto to cauliflower rice- yum!

Us too! There were a couple days it hit triple digits but compared to NC the heat is so much more bearable due to the humidity
