as a fan of Eminem, I have to say that I loved that there was a song sung by an artist to another artist only wanting one thing, his soul to be saved. How many other artist out there even take the time to be concerned about other artist salvation. Or realizing the impact on others that thy have. KJ recognized the power Eminem has even without realizing it, and instead of putting him down, PRAYED for him. Now look at where Eminem is today, SAVED. How many of you wished spirituality for Eminem? The first time I heard this song I prayed he would hear it to. I hope one day there's a follow up song. Who knows maybe they will collaborate.

what people keep missing is that this guy's just trying to reach out to Em' . regardless of whether KJ sucks he still paints the message quite clearly. it's a rare sight to see one artist reach out to another despite all the fan hate and threats he receives. Probably one shady will realise its time to reply :)

@@fsu4591 I don't who you are and whether you just discovered kj52, but nowhere have I mention did I have anything against the guy. My comment was fairly positive towards him as an artist in his own right. This comment was from 7 years ago, back when Em' was making a comeback from his drug addiction phase into music and was at an all time high with albums like Recovery and MMLP2. At the time this track was very controversial to lots of fans from both genres as well as looked as Kj trying to take a shot at Em' like many rappers try to do in order to make a name for themselves. That being said, if you were there at that point in time you'd have known that there was alot of hate thrown here at him and this was in response to them.

You can be religious & commit your life to Christ even if you make music like Eminem. He writes music to get his anger out. I know a lot people will disagree with me on this too. But the bible are words to live by, clearly he loves his daughter and cares about other people. There is no reason for anyone to judge Eminem because kj-52 made a song about him. He is successful, you guys have no room to judge him, that is Gods job.

The artist or the label shouldn't be blamed for that. If you raised a son/daughter that wants to do bad things, that's on the you. Not on the people creating the music/movies/TV/Games.
I feel that nowdays parents take less and less part in the actual raising of their kids. When I was a kid and I did something bad at school, I got blamed. Nowdays people try to find the blame elsewhere (like the teachers) so the kid doesn't learn from his mistakes.

What most people don't know about me is I can quote almost any line from any eminem song. I have all of his albums on CD (the uber expensive Infinite too...) but his music has never altered my mood or talked to me, it's never loaded a gun or cocked it for me and it's never made me assault a dude and tell the judge it was Em's fault, so he'd get sued. See what I just did?

Hey, I know there is a lot of controversy to this song, those who disagree with it, that's your prerogative, you're allowed to but to those who agree with the song and are writing replies - You may be the most Christian influence some people get, so please, keep the comments and replies respectful and focused on God's love.
I am a fan of Eminem's music (the clean edits) and I think he really is a guy who is just trying to be a good Dad and a good artist - he's actually one of the few rappers I like (just 'cause I'm not much of a rap person otherwise) but I definitely agree with this song. There are a lot of kids following him and his every word and that can be dangerous when he writes about certain things.

I'm sure Em deep down inside knows what's up. He knows KJ's right, but he's too deep in the game, just like trying to convert a drug dealer who been a kingpin for years. That stronghold is hard to break, most go back to that lifestyle, it's the only life they've ever known. But God is the God of impossibles, i grew up idolizing Em, was bullied, know what's it's like being a whiteboy that stands out in the minority neighborhood. That about brought tears to my eyes. I was a die hard em fan and when life turned against me I'd get lost and vent through em. I felt like it was therapy but the truth is is that it kept me in my misery and when the holy spirit came to me and made me get up off that couch showed me i still had purpose and that the Lord had in fact NOT washed his hands of me I slowly fell off of listening to him. But it wasn't all negative. He had actually started to bring Light to his darkness then best friend was released and revival. I just thought it was beautiful. I was so happy for Em. He seemed to be growing as a person sharing a but more positivity and even had found Christ. Then kamikaze dropped and with it my heart dropped. Honestly I got angry the things i wanted to say to him. I mean stand for sonething! Giving into the devil for sales. I thought he was taking his fans to the light but it was all a joke or a trap. Then i remember that hes human and I have no idea what it's like to be him. Your right. Who am I to judge add him to my prayers .
And also this music is dope. The flow the love the voice I dig it. God bless

These comments are incredibly hard to read. It makes me wonder if people actually read the lyrics or listened to the song (not just hear it) because Kj-52 clearly addresses everything people have been saying. I don't know if they hate people that write anything good or bad to their favorite celebrities or if they truly believe what they said, but they should review the lyrics a couple more times.

kj-52 wrote this from the heart fallowing what he believes in and you can knock it if you want to but there is no music better than what comes from the heart and hip-hop did not come from the hood it branched from rap which came from spoken word poetry but all music comes from god it is men who perverts it

KJ was never and will never try to insult or provoke him(Eminem). Even though Slim prays and believes in god, KJ wants him to show that in his songs(Maybe not all of them). He does set an influence on kids and even adults. He wants to befriend slim and share what has helped him. So please don't take out your anger on KJ, he never did anything to deserve it. Thank you got reading and have a nice day/night.

Well, you'll be happy to know on a song from the SHADYXV compilation/EP that he prays twice to make sure god hears him.

The songs are good and he isn't too bad but i am getting eminem vibes with the "reaction noises"un the background after each line, they are quite similar. The chorus is... dissapointing but still liked the verses.

I would never have heard this song if my girl didn't tell me about it while I was listening to eminem. That's pretty shady to call out a rapper to get your name out there

    • @kelsiehargreaves7633
      @kelsiehargreaves7633  10 лет назад +20

With all due respect, he didn't "call him out to get his name out there".. This video has 34,000 views, The smallest view count on an Eminem video that I found was 44,000,000 and that was Stan ft. Dito. Not everybody does stuff to get noticed, some people do things from the heart and I truly believe that KJ hopes everyone can someday feel the joy, peace, love, etc. that he feels. But that does not mean he is shoving anything down anyones throat. "to whom it may concern" does not mean listen to this, follow what I believe, or else... it means listen if you believe it concerns you.. by the way, he is not trying to get his name out there, he is trying to get God's love, mercy, and kindness out there.

+Kelsie Kearns U R Awesome! Well said!! You realize that if u do anything under the sun u will be hated on by someone. BUT when u go against the grain, rebel against this world and choose a path less taken, the narrow road they will hate you cause they hated the one you serve!! Press on!! Blessings and love!!!
