one of the songs that saved my life... and i mean that literally.
made some pretty back choices in my younger years... i couldn't see a way out of the torment it left behind, even after i'd left all of it behind... was tormented day and night, without ceasing.
music you listen to can have a strong affect on your life...
but music you dont pay much attention to, seems to have a powerful affect on your life; as your conscience takes it all in, even if you are not.
between KJ-52 (this & a few other songs, but mainly this one), Point of Grace, dc Talk, and a couple others... without them letting God use them; i wouldn't be here today. It's been the furthest thing from easy... but things are looking up finally (started listening to... not great bands again this past week; in turn: this past week has been awful; time to change it up with some good stuff!).
its been 10+ years of less than horrible; this years has been going really well!
have truly been blessed these last few months...

Free will is about individual choice. How can it be righteous, when any other person suffer for your choices, not to mention the whole mankind? 99% of the people who are in misery and pain in this world did not chose so, but were instead affected by the actions of those who are in any form of power. Belief in God or in the Bible is personal, but it does not justify mundane problems.
You have to understand, hell is a separation not a punishment. You choose whether to be with God forever or without Him forever. God wouldnt force you to come into His arms, He wants you to but He wont force you to.
This was a legendary song back in my day. It changed the way my life Is lived to this day.

this was my all-time favorite song of KJ's....even though i was a prodigal, it was still my fave....that first part, i could've gone to eternal hell, but i am now blessed with eternal bliss...Jesus swept away the poison i had entered into my body wen i wanted to end it all...i felt the poison leave my body...i felt God's presence as i surrendered everything to Him....as if he were comforting me, telling me it would be alright...
@MinFilmP you know how i always looked at it...if you believe in God and there is no God than you have nothing to lose...if you dont believe in him and he does exist then you have everything to Lose...and if you believe in God and he Does exist, then you have everything to gain :) yes i do believe in God ive been going to church my entire life and i love it soo much...and yea, my life isnt perfect not even jesus had a perfect life...but thats life.,..and God judges how you deal with it.

KJ got it 100% on this track! A lot of his stuff is fun and playful, but this is 4 REAL! If you just stumbled across this and you're an unbeliever, let it open your eyes that God is calling you out of your darkness. I was once just like KJ before his conversion, God called me out of darkness into His great light; Ephesians 2: 1-5 tells us,

@36FootballStud like the tom person said, that was our fault. It's our fault because we waste food now and days like it's nothing, If we did not waste it, nobody would have hunger. Also, when it comes to pain, we keep the medical knowledge to ourselves and decide not to go and help others, there are people trying to help those in hunger and pain, but most of us are just sitting back watching.

I have experienced things much greater and realer (is that a word?) than a God my friend. I don't seek forgiveness externally. I forgive myself for my sins and learn from my mistakes. I sincerely do appreciate your desire to share the feeling though. That is why I love Christians, not Christianity. You're like Canadians - so nice!!
