Polish sea shanties are mostly based on irish tunes. In some cases lyrics are translated directly, in some lyrics are brand new. There's a song called "Kiedy szliśmy przez Pacyfik" (aka Cholerny Sztorm) based on Rattling Bog melody but lyrics say about the storm when wind was blowing item by item off the ship's deck;)
